That locking pliers slide hammer will make quick work of cotter pins.
Oh, tell us more about the dart! Small block or Rb?I will be up and down the PA pike many times in the next several months. Next trip to pick up more is Friday March 10th. I already brought an old JD Model B tractor home and still need to pick up a 69 Dart.................
I am going to NJ tomorrow and really it will be the first time I have seen the entire car. Bringing it home on a trailer............It has been in the garage for at least 45 years. I will take a ton of pics, I am pretty excited to see what shape it is in. It has a 426 hemi and slicks on it. My FIL bought it with 2 miles on it and from what I know, it was never put on the street.Oh, tell us more about the dart! Small block or Rb?
I’m probably going to use them mostly for keys on shafts. They would definitely work well for cotter pins also. That locking pliers slide hammer will make quick work of cotter pins.

Will be interesting to see the pictures of the Dart. As far as I know the only Dart with a Hemi was the 1968 factory super stock. If you got one of those it's worth a fortune.

It looks like a radiator hose pick but I think they also have a trim tool like that. Can’t tell which one. What is that red handled pick on the right side?
How are you liking the Tekton 36oz dead blow ball peen hammer?
Love it. Will probably end up making it a full set in the future. How are you liking the Tekton 36oz dead blow ball peen hammer?
Thinking about getting one.

Yes this is it! It is relatively new, I just recently discovered that they exist. I haven't encountered a need yet, but I have almost exclusively owned Volkswagens so it's only a matter of time. The square shank got me. I've never seen one of these before, but I found it online. Indeed a trim tool...

Maybe not the best, but it’s FULL and COMPLETE. You go putting those on a Hansen or similar rack and that starts a cycle of obsessively chasing after the missing ones and all that!
Thanks,Love it. Will probably end up making it a full set in the future.
My store and a few others have/had knocked them down to $11.97.Must be a Wiha day. I decided to pick up a second set of the Wiha screwdrivers Lowes has marked down to $15.97. Wanted a set for inside the house as I’m tired of cheap Stanley’s that strip every screw I use them in. Used the Wiha’s yesterday and today. Wow. I thought my Klein and Greenlee’s were nice. These Wiha screwdrivers are even better!
When I checked Lowes daily deals this morning, I checked my cart for any price changes. The Wiha set was down to $11.97 too. I’ll pick them up later when I’m notified they’re ready. Thanks,

Where are you getting these? If it’s online I might have to check out shipping to the US.Picked up a bunch of random Wera sockets in 1/2", 3/8", and 1/4" drive. Torx, hex and some 6 and 12 point sockets.
This is one of those things where the pricing is so good, you don't want to let these go to waste. I've got some more coming in over the next week and then I'm going to see where I'm at. My plan is to bring the duplicates back to the States next time I'm home so that the wider community can benefit.
Speaking of not needing screwdrivers this is why. I already have the Vessel Megadora 900 JIS screwdrivers (non-JawsFit 1x75, 2x100, 3x150) and just completed the set with the Megadora 900 slotted (5.5x75, 6x100 and 8x150).
These are my go to screwdrivers now.
Just a word of warning: The smaller 3/8" drive Wera hex bits with the retaining ball are not strong enough. I can't remember the exact size they start becoming problematic, but I want to say we used to break the 6 or 5mm ones all the time. They rupture right where the ball is, and they will fail well below the max torque for a 5 or 6mm SHCS. The bigger sizes didn't seem to have an issue.Picked up a bunch of random Wera sockets in 1/2", 3/8", and 1/4" drive. Torx, hex and some 6 and 12 point sockets.

You can get em from JDV Products, IIRC they are exclusive to them.Nice, where'd you get the non-jaws version from? I'd like to get a #2 and a #3. The length wouldn't be all that important to me.

Their website is: https://www.vesseltools.com
Not to be confused with https://www.vesseltoolsusa.com that is the US website for the actual Vessel co.
NP. They're aimed at those who work on restorations & collector vehicles, etc. I don't have such vehicles, I have the jawsfit ones & they don't bother me at all. I can't ever recall them damaging fasteners to where they are noticeably visually unpleasant. Thanks, I'll check them out. I've had a tough time tracking them down.
