I’ve been watching as well……I noticed when bidding is close to the reserve, they work over the seller pretty hard. Hope Randy doesn’t have to deal with that…

Truck looks great! Best of luck with the auction. Hope it brings a ton of $$.

Hoping your beautiful truck brings way above your expectations. What an awesome build!

I will be there on Saturday. Can't wait to check it all out. Hope it blows right past your reserve. It looks amazing better than when I saw it at the show with the 428 in it.
Was a 427 Side Oiler prior. I will get there around 8 am to give time to dust it off clean up a bit. I ran it for 15-20 minutes prior to leaving today to make sure the battery is up. Those AGM batteries don't like steady draws.
I'll be watching!!! Best of luck to you, Randy!!!

If anyone figures out when it's going to cross, please post details here.

I don't know the time but it's listed for Saturday, lot 109. I'm recording all three days, all hours so hopefully I'll catch it.

I'd like to know too. But Randy and Scott (pugetdude) sent me a picture earlier today with them standing in front of the truck

I was jelly since I'm five minutes from the venue but can't escape to go.

Gotta say, there were a lot of nice cars there, but Randy’s truck really stands out. Hoping it blows by the reserve tomorrow afternoon.
Thanks much! It was good to finally meet you! Knee's will be knocking by morning that do I get to drive it home or leave it there!

Already made up my mind I am not budging on reserve. They can negotiate after it runs through. Last time I did that ('32 3w coupe) I said what I needed in my pocket then said ok sign here. I did but then they sold at that price and it cost me 3300 off of it. never again. When it runs through it has to hit reserve at that time. They can drop the 10% fee if they want to drop the price.
They were running lot ~F 75 when I left around 2:00 today. So I’m guessing Randy’s truck S 109 will go across during prime time tomorrow afternoon- 4:00 ish
I was just trying to figure that out. I am thinking 2-4 pm area but could be earlier. Live coverage starts at 1 i think. I just noticed they added a walk around vid on the listing page. Must have been early this morning before I got there.
You going to bid on anything Scott?
Thanks ALL!
This really could change things at the shade tree mechanic's place!

I have no clue if I posted but seems ford still having front timing/crank seal issues with the Raptor R's so on hold again. My build now scheduled for week of May 15th. At doesn't matter at this time when it shows. Decision will be of F100R sells and for how much.

Wife's 2009 Taurus AWD has been down since last sunday and think the transfer case might be toast. 180k pretty trouble free miles except for a speed sensor in transmission a few years back. Have had it over 7 yrs now about time to get her something nicer. She has pretty much lost trust in the AWD T right now. I think a Explorer ST would suit her just fine?

7 yrs ago we paid 7500 for the Taurus then I think it was 3 yrs ago and she was driving down freeway and the moon roof shattered and blew out. Stupid insurance totaled the car and after a HUGE fight on value they gave us check for 8200 and we kept car. They started off at 2400.00 That was after a arbitrator agreed with me they were trying to rip me off as they refused to go further than a 20 mi radius from my place. Being out in the sticks of course no comparisons.

Sorry for the thread hijack, Randy. It was a sh*tty thing to do….

Best of luck tomorrow!
I needed something to laugh at!

I will be happy if truck breaks the 100k $$ amount. Of course will not sell for that but seems entire economy is on a down turn especially the collector type stuff. It will take 150k bid to buy the truck. if it does not meet that amount I will drive it home with a smile on my face!

It will be worth the 1000.00 entry fee just to force me to finish stuff I had not done on the truck. I really wanted to buff truck complete but ran out of time. Looks ok for a driver as is.

Also If a no sale I plan on doing a DOT tire on rear and swapping gears from 3.50 to 3.00 then do some more tuning to hit that 0-60 in the 3 second range and at least hit that magical 100 mph in the 1/8 th.. Lots more testing and tuning.

I will then finish Rainbow Ranger and put it up for sale to raise funds for the N crew. If not get the N crew back together with finished interior then back on road and put it on BaT or elsewhere up for grabs. A lot depends on what happens tomorrow. I will be good either way sell or not sell.

Damn……2 cars from Randy‘s truck, Motor trend TV broke for about 5 minutes of commercials. Didn’t come back to the auction until lot 111. I’m done with this ********. I’ve seen enough State Farm and ED commercials…….

$165k? Randy - watching it live, it seemed like it sold for $150k. The auctioneer didn't spend much time trying to raise the bid, either, once the reserve was off.

Well done! Congratulations. I hope you are proud of that.

Yes, you see the hammer price on tv, when they list it later they include the buyer’s premium.
