What is everyone using for a power cord for their lift?

I have about 15ft to span to the outlet I'm going to be using.

I used 10 GA SO cord for mine. It is 30' and i used ends to make it an extension cord set up. That way i can use it for my welder also. I think i paid like 40 bucks from an electrical supply house.

is it 20 amps? If so, L6-20 twistlock receptacle and mating plug is the way to go. 12/3 SJOW or 12/3 SOOW cord. The latter has a thicker jacket and is better if it is subject to damage.

I used a 10/3 SO cable from Home Depot...it was like $1.46/ft and used a L6-30R plug/receptacle.

I ran a cable from the electrical panel to the attic, installed a conduit down from the ceiling to the lift motor, and ran the wire inside the conduit. Then I painted the conduit to match the lift upright (can of spray paint was included with my lift) and it looks like a factory part.

My camera broke. It had something to do with taking it bass fishing. We caught one fish that brought in a lot of seaweed and water, and I later found my camera in a pool of water in the bottom of the boat. It has not been the same since.

What wire/cable did you use?
