I am automating two deck fountains on my pool. I have a 4 channel Sonoff in the large gray box on the wall in the picture. One channel triggers a contactor for the pump, one channel turns on the light and the last two channels are going to activate 24 volt transformers that open the pictured US Solid, auto return, normally closed valves. I've got to rework some plumbing, but that I have a plan for. I was planning on running 18 gauge wires from the gray box to the switches through flexible conduit, but will need to do something about the splice for the pigtails on the valves. I was thinking about running the flexible conduit into a junction box and making the connections inside that, but was wondering about attaching it to the concrete slab, or strapping it to the pvc plumbing. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Consider removing those short tails and replacing with 18-2 UV resistant cables long enough to reach the controller location. Leave a loop at the valve, follow the surface of the pipe and cable tie the cable on the most protected side of each pipe.
Measure the existing cable diameter and replace with same diameter so new cable fits into water tight strain relief.

If they are, then maybe there is room enough inside to make the splice.
