Leviton Edge?

came across the Leviton Edge series.
Any real life experiences with these?

Lever lock is all the rage today with Wagos. Figured it was going to hit devices soon enough.

They have a real benefit in my eyes as an alternative to wire nuts, but when good quality receptacles already have good screw down clamps, I see less of a benefit here.

The ears handing spacing and alignment does look interesting on them, too.

Curious to see if anyone has used these

I know of two local electrical contractors that went all in on the levitons and I haven't heard of any issues. Although one of them switched to the hubbell equivalent https://www.hubbell.com/hubbell/en/...25V-5-15R-Screwless-Terminal-Ivory/p/11117942

The hubbell uses a plunger on the rear of the wiring device.

Again, I haven't heard of any complaints about the levitons, I think the only reason to switch to the hubbell is spacing.

Looks god to me. I was just messing with the ground screw loop yesterday yet the hot and neutral go straight in and get clamped. No reason for that.

Yes, there is a small panel midway on the side that you open and break the connection. Here is a good video on them.

i was gonna say as long as its not like the quickwire terminals on backstab outlets, should be good to go

I see, thanks. Curious they did not do the same for ground which if a pass through or a half-hot will still require a pig tail.

We will see in 10 or 20 years.

There is a Universe where things happen as they do in promotional material. I just have never found it.
