I am asking for help from those wiser than myself. I'm reusing this commercial cast iron sink and pedestal in my basement project. I want to totally disassemble it so I can thoroughly clean everything and replace the seal between the sink and the pedestal. According to some schematics I have. the drain goes through the sink and a washer then threads into the pedestal. I tried some hack ways with pliers in the hole and turning it with a bar but I'm afraid I'll bend or break the lugs which are threaded and hold a chrome strainer over the drain.
As far as I can tell it's a two inch pipe thread and not much to grab on to. My question is: Is there a wrench for this and what do I call it in my search? Links would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
