Just about finished up this little car. Just needs a roof made. I'll hopefully get it sorted in the next week.
It's battery powered using a motor from a golf club trolley. It will pull me along quite happy on the flat, albeit it's a struggle for me to fit in the seat!
No real design influence other than to make something akin to an early 1900's roadster. It was simply made up as I went along finding inspiration where I came across it. The paint I had on the shelf, and the owl mascot was sourced from eBay. The white paint, coupled with the owl, gave birth to the name 'Hoot' which formed the theme the car was ultimately built around.
The 'petrol pump' was an old oil cabinet pump that I fitted a bit conduit and air hose to, and painted in Shell livery. I'm not very good at painting so don't be too harsh with the lettering!
