Anyone try this Eastwood multiprocess welder?

Have been looking at a multi-process while researching beginning welders and this one seemed intriguing. I know that many have strong feelings about MPs and especially MPs that try to do too much, but this one has DC AND AC TiG, has it's own cart built in, and seems like a great price for what it is. Since it seems to be a new product AND because they seem to have another model that is similarly named, I was unable to find much information about it. Just curious if anyone has tried one or found a good review (hopefully links are allowed).

I was looking into Everlast as well, and I have heard they also have great customer service, but also some horror stories. The alternative is to buy one "ok" MIG first and maybe a good AC/DC TiG later, but honestly with the small amount of welding I'd ever do, I would like to be able to get better at all the different processes first, then maybe step up to something higher quality once my skills are there.

I have a Harbor Freight multiprocess tool, I'm not an experienced welder but it does flux-core MIG, TIG, MIG w/Argon, and stick welding. I have a spool gum for aluminum MIG, w/Argon. I got it when Harbor Freight had the class-action lawsuit, which I joined. The way you got the most payout was to have your individual receipts, which fortunately, I did. I got a $400 store credit, and used it to get this one, the Omnipro 220. It's 120V & 240V, and my garage has both.

So far it's better than I am. I haven't tried the TIG function yet, but I've used the other functions. I'm learning. I have someone who's volunteered to help me learn, so I'll do that. I do have some experience with oyy/acetylene for both cutting and brazing, and I'm told that helps to grasp the concepts.



I added the cork & crutch tips to prevent any insects from crawling into the orifices. I also added a wider shelf, and storage space for the consumables by the tank clamp, and under the shelf.

On the cart: The powder coat will peel off in sheets in a couple of years, and it’s not well balanced. My Miller 175 is “tippy” on the shelf, and I had to extend the shelf and widen the wheel track to keep my HTP tig from falling over while moving it.

I wouldn’t recommend that HF cart, or any similar cart sold under a half dozen brand names.

The bigger, mor expensive carts maybe, although nothing leads me to believe the quality is any better.
