I'm unsuccessfully trying to find info on this little lathe. I'm hoping someone here has some insight. On the gear cover the catalog # is 115-YB. The serial on the bed is 72868. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Unless the history is important to you, don't waste your money - and at that, you'll only find out when it was sold and to who. Other than that, the serial card will only tell you things that you can already discern from looking at the lathe, and it will include a bunch of numbers regarding accuracy that will mean nothing to you. Save your money, you'll need it for tooling.Order the serial card for it: https://www.grizzly.com/products/south-bend-lathe-serial-card
The geek in me was thinking of a serial communications card, and I didn't think that lathe was new enough to need one. Thanks goodness for the next post, clarified that for me.Order the serial card for it: https://www.grizzly.com/products/south-bend-lathe-serial-card
