I'm getting the paint done in my garage, and I have a lot of decor, like neon clocks, automotive sign etc.
So show us yours. Anything that makes your wall items,...a man cave.

By the way, tell us how you ran your power cords from your devices, not just a bunch of cords going everywhere. Mine has,.... to be attractive.

Frankly (if Frank is monitoring) if I have bare wall I am not using for storage, the space is being wasted. My workshop is my WORKshop, not a place to waste time. Similarly, my friends and family are not in there with me to socialize, they are in there to build things, fix things, learn things...DO things.

Well, you might want to stop wasting.... your time here, and stay in your shop. Socialize,...? Then why join a socializing forum ? That's funny cannuck ! 😁🤣 How shallow...

You guys have space on the walls for decoration? That must be nice. I just settle for slathering one of my 4 toolboxes with random stickers I've acquired over the years from auto / motorcycle parts. I am considering building an addition to the shop out of Rock Auto fridge magnets.

Good Idea for a thread OP. I will be adding things to my walls soon, but am interested to see others. I guess well all cant be Don Long, but I hope to add some Beer Signs, Sports stuff, and hopefully some old school neon. Ive been scouring CL and Marketplace and have picked up a few things but nothing to share just yet. Im still working on getting the interior walls up.

Me as well. I've been collecting neon clocks, signs etc for years. I also will mount my flat screen TV for my weekend car related shows and racing. I finished my ceiling and the walls, just need to paint them, so I'll start placing it all on the walls for my finished man's cave.(y)

I dont have much wall space in my garage as I have a tv up on one wall and some skateboards on part of the wall. I have shelves all over. I just tossed an old license plate or two on the wall, a neon sign, and a Texaco gas sign up on my space behind my Harbor Franks tool box

A subtle reference.

I love the wood. I wish I could find some at a low price, but I can't. At least half way up. I'm also concerned that with only a single the wood would make the garage look even smaller, but maybe half the way up the wall might be fine ? Tell me more about yours and the rest of the garage.

Its a former parts store. The 1x12x16's were 1960's shelving used on-site. They were coated with oil/grease-filled dust after over 50 years of use. The wood obtained the most wonderful patina and honey color. I was able to salvage/repurpose the shelves to cover lots of greasy, stained machine shop stains. Sometimes, it is worth splurging on something you only buy once but enjoy for a lifetime.

LOVE IT ! Years ago, if an old barn was starting to fall down, the wood was cheap to buy and if you told the owner that I'll tear it down for free, most would say, Hell Ya ! But now, there very expensive...
The only "patina and honey color" I wouldn't want, is the outhouse seat and flooring ! :yikes:

Wow, nice collection ! I have quite a few 1/8th scale race cars, top fuel, funny cars and dirt wing sprint cars. I've made acrylic displays that will slide into the wall, flush, so they won't get dirty.

Yeah, Dean Skuza was Matco's top fuel funny car driver at the time....also Matco partially sponsored a few NASCAR teams.

Excellent shop! I don't see a mini split. Insulation and fans keep it bearable in the Georgia summer?

Thanks HogDude! July and early August mid day are pretty brutal. If I have the three doors open half way with the shop fans going it is tolerable. I looked into mini splits a few times, but they do not put out the BTU's needed to keep a 2,250 square foot shop with 14ft eaves cool. So July thru mid August only emergency repairs are done in the day. Anything else waits until the evening LOL

The hermit from Led Zeppelin was in the shop, but ended up in the living room. I made both of these on my CNC machine.
