Tekton Crowfoots

The Tekton USA made crowfoots are out. I ordered the metric set. I like the holder. It looks like they made some intelligent design choices. Maybe they will make flare nuts next.

Not sure I'm super interested in the crowfeet themselves but those holders do look pretty nice. Might pick one of those up. Looks good, and looks like an efficient use of space.

I'll be watching for their 1/2" drive USA crowfoot sets. In the mean time, I'm piecing together a set of ols Bonney, Armstrong, Utica and such.

Tekton, are you going to make USA 1/2" drive flare crowfoot sets?

They are admittedly seldom used items but when they are needed, they are indespensible. I've found myself wanting the larger sizes but not enough to pull the trigger yet. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase.

I've spread one 1/2" crowsfoot (1-3/8" unsurprisingly) and a new one got couriered to my door within 24 hours

They are certainly not as beefy as some designs, but I feel like if you're using a crowsfoot wrench, access is usually a concern, so I don't mind so much. Especially not if Tekton will just send you a replacement!

My tekton angle wrenches spread and slip more easily than other brands. But being that snap on want $80+ a pop for 21mm plus, I'll manage.

You could buy the Tekton set, and fill them in with better ones as you find them cheap. Large sizes of SAE are much easier to find cheap than large sizes in metric. The sizes that ironworkers and millwrights use are easier to find than ones in between them.

I have 10-19 snap on, just traded in my set for the flank drive plus 10-19 set. Tekton brings up 8,21,22,24,27. I don't use then enough to justify snap on. My SAE set is all tekton.
