I recently joined on the recommendation by someone on another forum that I participate in (gmt400.com). My GF and I are in the process of having a 30’ x 40’ x 12’ metal garage built, which will be the second garage I’ve had in my life, and her first.
The process has been a little different, in that we ordered the building before realizing that the concrete contractor we’d chosen probably couldn’t do the job within our timeframe. But the Labor Day discount (20%) was too good to pass up.
Anyway, we have a concrete contractor lined up, and two rather large pine trees had to be removed from the pad area, and the stumps will be dug out week after next, if all goes according to plan.
We’re hoping to have the building up by sometime in December.
Really looking forward to reading about and seeing some good ideas for the new garage!
