Piston ring for Craftsman oil less air compressor?

Hi!
I have an old 90 gallon craftsman oil less 2 cyl air compressor that I am rebuilding. I can find the piston ring for the wafer piston that fits between the wafer and the connecting rod. The other cylinder has an actual piston with a ring groove. I cannot find a ring for that. I tried Amazon and sears parts direct. But found nothing.

I can’t find any videos or schematics showing this type piston either.

Ideas on where I can find this?

I need a ring. The old ring was dry rotted and broken.

is it the one you have pictured? I would look on ebay for size equivalents . I did that once for an unobtainable one. I think I searched teflon compressor rings

Yes. Here’s a couple more pics. I’ve been looking on eBay today but haven’t found anything yet.
Strange there is no part number on the piston. I will check the sight you suggested now.

Yep this is the one. It is used on several listed on the page you sent but not listed for sale.

Kinda looks like a scarf cut teflon sealing ring you'd find in a hydraulic cylinder. Maybe visit a hydraulic repair shop or transmission rebuild place and see if there is something you can use? Goodluck

Back when I was working at an Auto Parts Store, we could assemble a set of Piston Rings by just having the cylinder bore size and the ring type and groove width.

We didn’t have computers, just guys who could use the paper catalogs and think about the job. Piston Ring manufacturers sold rings “Open Stock” to replenish the sets we robbed rings from.
