Disconnect for pool wiring

My pool pump is 220V on 3 wires. (2 hots, ground). I want to wire it with a waterproof disconnect of sorts so at the end of the season I can unplug and take inside.
Should I just put a 220 plug on it and have a receptacle that's in a waterproof case?
or some sort of connector that's waterproof like a Hubbel cord connector?

I'd put a cord set on the motor with a molded plug and use a watertight fitting where the cord enters the motor. Molded plugs tend to be smaller and fit inside an in use cover better.

The plug on the cord set should be a 240V 20A rated type

Is there a bond wire between the motor frame and the pool bonding system? You will have to disconnect that too.

You could use an in use cover like these.

There is a bond wire, its a separate wire.

OK at 1hp, plug is doable, but miking sure it is protected from the weather and durable is important.

Why remove the pump for winter? I just drain mine and leave the plugs out, but that's just me.

I remove it and put inside. I have gone thru 2 motors already, feel that the winter is hard on stuff..
