I'd be interested if anyone has experience with these cabinets as well. I'm in the market for cabinets for the new house garage.

Same here, sort of.

Garage expansion in progress and I will need to add cabinets when completed.
I currently have NewAge Pro in blue, but they discontinued the blue color so I am torn between choosing a different color or going with a different manufacturer. Then again, no one seems to be making cabinets in blue anymore, so it's almost a moot point.

So I may just stick with the NewAge, but I'm still interested in the Trinity, although the handles & locking system seem to be overkill for a home garage.

Yeah, I had new NewAge Pro in the last house. They were Gray and I wanted Gray again, but the only in stock deal I found was Red, so Red it is! I never did see any further information on the Trinity cabinets, so I went with what I knew were good quality cabinets. Installed them last week.

I was wondering if any of you guys have bought these trinity pro cabinets from Costco or anywhere else. They seem to get pretty good reviews. Any first hand experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I bought 2 8-piece sets last summer. I think they are really good. They truly are heavy duty and the coating is tough too. I liked having instant cabinets -- just unpack and screw the feet on.

FWIW the Trinity "Metro Shelves" are great too. I have tons of them in my workroom and also in my storage locker to keep things organized.

The great thing about ordering from Costco is free shipping, they show up at my house rather than my having to schlep 70+ lb. boxes around with my little GTI.

Yup, free as hell. Right after you shell out FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS to buy them (Trinity wire shelves). Lol

It's not a bad deal, a chrome six shelf 48" x 18" x 72" unit is $150 when they have them. Although the sixth shelf is a little excessive, five is more practical and in fact most of mine are built with only five shelves.

My issue with the new age pro as well as other brands is they are to tall. I want to install overhead racks directly above the cabinets to get stuff off the floor. I have 8' 2" ceilings and pick up 9" with the Trinity cabinets . This will allow for 21-22" drop on the racks. The Trinity get great reviews on costco and I think the new age pro would be awesome as well but apparently New age has tons of complaints about stuff arriving damaged and people having to fight with them to get replacements.

Just arrived and very well packaged. Requested lift gate service and the driver let me use the pallet jack to get them in the garage. 1618 lbs on 3 skids. Easy unload 10 minutes and he was out of here.

if these are the same Trinity metro shelving units I got on sale about 3 yrs ago at Tractor Supply, yes, they ARE a great deal! I got the heavy duty ones that support 1k/lbs per shelf, with casters, for about $150/each (on sale!).

I bought 2 in black, with casters, with 6 shelves. one shelf unit actually came damaged where it wouldn't sit tight on the plastic pole bracket. had to inspect it to see why, it was barely tweaked out of round on one edge. tried to fix it with leverage, paint started chipping. called Trinity, told them the issue, they said send a cell phone pic, I did. had a new one delivered to my door within a couple days, no charge. they even told me to keep the old one and do whatever I wanted with it.
great customer service, great product! (y)

Yb these are the 18gauge steel cabinets linked in the first post.

Guys when I say these were packaged well I mean it . Waffle board inside and out, foam inside the cabinets to prevent chaffing. They really put some consideration into this to prevent damage in transit. I got all of them up last night accept for the counter top. Trying to decide if I want the bench on the stem wall or on the feet. Thinking on the feet but will need to either get a wider top or build some kind of widget box to run the full length of 112”.

These are solid cabinets with no flex at all and I expect that they will last the rest of my life. This whole transaction overall went very smooth with no issues at all and I would do it again. If you’re ok with the set configurations they have and have height challenges like I did these are a good cabinets. My only feed back to Costco and Trinity would be to let the consumer build his own kit and price it from there.

Pics to follow later

Delivery and set up went extremely well. Everything was on two pallets and the packaging was amazing( someone really put some effort into that). Basically screw the feet on and level, the bases. Wall cabinets were easy as well and use a French cleat type of deal. Pic is during set up. Was trying to see if they would sit well on the stem wall behind them with just the front legs on. Wound up going 4 on the floor Which left me with a gap behind the cabinets. Ran to Lowe’s and grabbed a 10’ x 25” length of butcher block slab to span the gap and give me an inch on the front to clamp to. I’ll use the bench tops that came with the cabinets for shelves on another wall. I’ll get a better pics when i get the rest of the garage in a better state. We’re starting to get back to normal after a total house rebuild and I have **** everywhere right now. Sorry for the delay.
