@olytdi; I use CRC if I have to clean up/degrease a larger area for general cleaning. Do-oxit I use in small amounts on the terminals only. A lot of people use brake cleaner for general cleaning but It's pretty harsh. CRC is effective but gentle on plastic and harness wrap, etc., and leaves no residue.
