I happened upon this video showing how to jump through some unnecessary hoops get the right angle Ryobi die grinder free with the $99 battery/charger purchase from https://ryobitools.com/promotions

After you add to cart you will check out through Home Depot’s website. I don’t think these guys are available in the store, but shipping to store or your home is free. I ordered one to use with the little Roll Lock discs, which I use frequently.

I've put about 60 hours on mine and other than having to replace a bad collet it's worked pretty well.

You can put the items in your cart on the Ryobi website but when you go to check out on HD, it charges full price for the grinder. I ordered and am having it shipped to the store and will hopefully get a refund on the difference when I go to pick it up. The grinder does not show as an option for the free gift on HD website.

I think HD killed the deal or it ended. Yesterday I was able to add the die grinder as a free tool right from the battery kit on HD. Showed as $99 total and now it's full price for the die grinder. Guess I shouldn't have waffled about on this one.

$99 Wed 2:30pm EST If you start with die grinder - On the HD site, go to the die grinder ($149), skip the add-on selection square, go down to the "battery/charger" drop down and select the 2-4ah battery kit, should show $99 total, at least right now.

It just worked for me here in RI without any tricks - just straight up ordered the die grinder with the two batteries and charger shipped to my house for $104 all in with tax, free shipping. Awesome deal, thanks!

I hate I missed this. I used to use a right angle air die grinder with roloc discs for cleaning gasket surfaces. Everything is battery operated now.
