If you dip Copenhagen snuff. And I did for 40 years. I found that Cougar snuff is half the price. Copenhagen = $6.20 can and Cougar = $2.50 can. And it taste exactly like Copenhagen.

Hey Mike, where ya from that “dip” is the verb?
I‘m kind of a regional English geek, and in my parts one “chews” snuff.
But I did hear a Wyoming guy say “dip” once and I had to ask wtf he was talking about.

Every one here says "dip"

can remember anyone in the Marine Corps where it was rampant that didn't.

Every one I have heard say chew was referring to large leaf tobacco like red man and beechnut.

All disgusting either way.

Same here in MA. I don't use either. Tried to in high school bc it seemed cool, and I kind of liked the taste. But I puked every time. I learned after a half dozen tries. Skoal, Redman, and Levi Garrett - all had same effect.

I started dipping back in 1970 to lose a half pound for the wrestling team. Each match you may be a pound over. Never had problems with stomach. Started running 5Ks 10ks and Marathons. After each race put a dip in and run the coerce again. I remember to gargle with listoren every mourning for 40 years while I make the bed. Happy wife.

I looked it up. Cougar is owned by British American Tobacco, the largest tobacco company in the world. I'll bet that they're selling Cougar at below cost to gain market share against Altria, who owns Copenhagen. I don't know how else they could be selling the same product for 60% less.

That's not bait and switch. I can't think of any way this is bait and switch. And I thought 'bate had other connotations. Anyway bait and switch is when you go to buy one thing that's advertised but the seller swaps it with something else, generally of lower value.

Words and terms change meaning over time.

Traditionally, snuff was a dry powder that was snorted up the nose.

Then people started chewing the end of a small stick, to dip it in the dry snuff and chew it until it was gone. Birth of the term Chew

Today, Chew and snuff have become commingled, and refer to the rounds of moist, chemical laden Tobacco sold at 7-11 and other fine establishments.

If you haven’t tried snorting some snuff(the dry stuff), I highly recommend it.

Please post videos of yourself enjoying the experience.

I have tried to find this locally. ALL of the places I have been have Cougher but not the snuff. Just long cut, wintergreen, long cut wintergreen and pouches.

I want to try this as Copenhagen is over $10/tin

There are towns that don't have it. I have found that smaller towns that are lower income per capita sell it. I buy it by the roll for $12.00 a roll. Good luck. I know what it means to save a little.
