Returned home with a stash of Indiana/Midwest shirts from my buddy that owns a clothing company out there. 👍

He also does a ton of custom work so if anyone needs business shirts, hats, jackets, sweatshirts, business cards, practically anything (even embroidery) hit him up 🍺. He makes all my business clothing.

The lights in the house garage were all slowly starting to fail at 4-1/2 years 🙄. They were just cheap 4ft LED workshop lights that had a decent warranty but of coarse the Chinese company is out of business so warranty doesn't really help 🤦

I had some spares and have replaced a few already but now I'm out of spares. So I decided to heck with this I'm taking them all down and pitching them and just putting in sockets that I can screw in any light I want. This will make for much easier replacements when the time comes again. For now I went with a little four panel LED. There will be 12 of these in the 3 car garage.

Nooooo ****, IF it happens you're going for it huh?. Well best of luck bud as I certainly know what its like to want to be someplace else.

We are going for it bud! It's still close to lots of family and we decided to throw in what we thought was a totally hopeless offer and said if God wants us to go so be it. They accepted same day. 🙏 It will be an adventure. We are keeping the AZ house too so there is a fallback even though we are not anticipating that.

Dang! Just got to the end of this thread just in time!

Did you get the rental fixed and sold? (or is that the house you are keeping?)

Thanks for following.

Yes we got the rental house all remodeled and sold. We are keeping the house we currently live in, the house with the shop that this thread was started about. I know we have derailed the train many times since then haha.

So sorry to hear, what happened?

Based on X-rays and fluid samples we believe it was a ruptured intestine. Our options were basically emergency $5k exploratory surgery hoping they were wrong and it was a fixable bladder/stomach instead....or the alternative. Our Vet is a good friend of ours and we trust her, so when they said there was a good chance he wouldn't make it off the table we decided this was what was best for him as he was already declining quickly (hours). I stayed with him and my wife brought the kids up to say goodbye and the vet prayed over him and the kids and he went in peace surrounded by family.

along with others I am sorry to hear about your family member... our family had to put a member down last year ('22), a pekanese named "wetherby magnum" glad to hear that family was able to be around, it helps both sides to have that comfort. hopefully the new year will bring good (better) things..... ;)
