Jack Identification

I am trying to identify this jack. I got it from my cousin who worked at a repair shop and after many years, it is leaking down. I want to replace the seals.

I looked at some jack threads and doesn’t seem to be the same as the overseas jacks posted in Hiballs rebuild thread. (https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/overseas-jack-rebuild-help-tutorial.51105/)

Tear into the hydraulics, measure the seals, and call Hydraulic Parts Supply in Sawyer KS, (620) 594-2247.

Probably Taiwanese. I had one like it I bought probably 35 years ago or more. It was a good jack and was not expensive. If you are gonna rebuild one I would get rid of that and find a nice old Hein Werner or Walker

I'm not sure, but it's not the typical import design.

I don’t think so due to subtle differences.

I think it is! Thanks! I researched Viking and they were made in Brazil. I also found that some ATD jacks were made by Viking.

This is excellent, one of the reasons I enjoy Garage Journal.

Nope

I might be tempted to ditch that jack for a Walker, but not a Hein Werner. Really, there's nothing bad about that jack, tear into it, you have nothing to lose.
