I was wondering what American Made Impact Sockets and Driver bit brands you guys have had the best experience with
i was currently comparing apex vs wright tools
also I have no idea what socket to get for my Dewalt Dcf899B 20 Volt Max XR 1/2" Impact Wrench with Detent Pin for 3/4" nuts
(All I know is impact wrenches use impact sockets and are for nuts and bolts)

Wright, Snap-On and maybe Proto are about it for American Made sockets. Most, if not all of Apex's brands are made in Taiwan or China. Your last question was sort of odd. What socket do I get to fit a 3/4" nut? Well, I'd guess a 3/4" socket. You can also use a 19mm as they are virtually the same size.

3/4" nuts for pressure treated lumber over sill seal on concrete and is same sizes lug nuts on my car

also some things will say 1/4" square and I have no idea if that matters

And thank you for the heads up on apex

In my opinion, Wright is one of the best.

Occasionally I work in mines, these are known for abusing tools something fierce. I've seen more Wright tools that anything else and it's very rare to see any of them fail.

They're reasonably priced too.

Wright are excellent sockets and held in high regard as snap-on quality without the price.

As mentioned Williams has two lines - the USA versions have part codes that include letters, while the import codes are numbers only. For example a USA 1/2" SAE impact socket set is WS-4-11RC, and the equivalent Taiwan version is 37923.

The standard hex nut wrench size for a 3/4" bolt is 1 - 1/8".

I agree with the above, Apex is not what it used to be.

I will stick with wright then since i have heard snap on/ williams is started to go down

is the screenshot the right size of what i am looking for

No one here can guarantee the size that you need. You are going to need to figure that out for yourself by measuring what you're trying to put it on. Saying that, 1-1/8 is standard for a 3/4 thread hex nut. But not for a 3/4 heavy hex which is used in civil engineering applications. So....

Those are 1/2” J-bolts and nuts. They typically take a 3/4” wrench but I have installed some that are heavy hex and take a 7/8”. Often depends on what the supplier stocks. You’ll want a deep socket for thread clearance.
Honestly, a high torque impact wrench is overkill for installing those, and it’ll get old packing that thing around, especially when walking plates. We would run them down with an impact driver and chrome socket until good and snug, but not sinking the washer. After framing the floor we’d go back and do a final tighten on the nuts with a ratchet. Kept the floor flat. Running the bolts down super tight will create dips in the mudsill that’ll create gaps in the rim and can even transfer to the subfloor where the joists vary up and down.
Even with these bolts tight, once that plate seasons out, you’d be surprised how often they end up loose.

As far as I know, Apex Assembly & Fastening Tools are still being produced in the USA even though the rest of the brands owned by Apex Tool Group are being made in Asian countries. The main reason for this is the Aerospace industry. The Aerospace industry would more than likely quit buying the Apex assembly tools if they were being sourced from Asia, and Apex Tool Group would lose a huge customer.

I have a lot of Proto Impacts in SAE sizes and they are good quality and have served me well. In addition to Zoro promotions, you can often get very good deals on new old stock SAE sets on ebay. I have a set of 3/8 drive deeps from 1/4 to 7/8" that I purchased for under $100.
