I just lucked out. A friend is moving to Europe and he needed to get rid of his Husky (rebadged CH) 60 gal. single stage compressor. Long story short, I'm getting it for free. I already have a nice PUMA single stage 60 gal. compressor in the shop, but I was thinking of ganging the Husky into the current system. If successful, I'll conservatively have 20cfm@90psi capabilty and 120 gal. air storage.
The elctricals are no problem, plenty of 220v circuits in the shop, but I need some advice on how to effectively gang these two compressors, and then balance out the kick-in and kick-out so any one unit won't get overloaded.
Anyone have experience with this type of setup?
Here are the specs
Husky 7.0 HP (yeah right!!) 12.3 CFM @ 40 PSI and 10.3 CFM @ 90 PSI,
Puma 5.0 HP 12.9 CFM @ 40 PSI and 11.4 CFM @ 90 PSI;
