Where are you going to buy them from? I haven't seen any of the new Gearwrench products show up for sale on the popular tool sites yet.

I have no experience with any gear wrench tools, but i just wanted to say that tomorrow is the last day OSH is having there half off gear wrench sale. Stopped in today for some screws and checked it out. flex head ratcheting sets come out to $40.00 , ratcheting stubby wrench sets $30.00. Not bad

Flex head sets are $45, 50% of 89.99.

Search slickdeals for the OSH survey info -- get a coupon for $20 off $50... Sweeeet.

So what you are saying, there is a coupon that gets you 20 bucks off on top of the 50 percent sale. Normally i would not buy this stuff, but dam, may go get them for the truck.

You'll need a little over $5 more of filler items, but you'll be right there in the tool section...

They didn't blink an eye when I bought a flex GearWrench set earlier this week for $34.** out the door. (Grrrr, high CA+local tax.)

I have the 3/8 drive 8-22mm impact swivel set. They're nothing special. They are NOT the pinless type. They are pinned with a collar although the collar isn't as thick as the ones found on Grey Pneumatic or Sunex versions. They are supposed to be dual marked with gold and stamped size markings but, my set only has the gold size markings.
Although a lot more money, the Craftsman, Armstrong Maxx, or Matco pinless sets are vastly superior. The pinless design give you a lower profile and improves access by not having that fat collar. The pinless design is more like a CV joint and rotates smoother under load.
I would watch for a sale at sears or pick up a used matco set off ebay, just make sure they are they pinless design.
The is an Ebay seller that has most of the Gearwrench impact socket sets listed.
