I know peg board isn’t the most popular here. BUT, with proper framing under 1/4” hole, white coated product, and using good quality hangers, I have great success.
This wall is an arms length from my table saw and drill press and holds many woodworking helpers.

Also, I’m sure I’ve shown this square holder on this board before but don’t remember where.
I copied and expanded this holder from a smaller 3D printed piece that was for sale online.

Who cares what other people around here think about peg board? What matters is it works for you and your needs! I don't use peg board personally but do have stuff on my walls as well and like seeing what you did with it.

Yeah, a little paranoid about that one. I use a contactor to control my compressor with my shop floor lights. I know how it is wired but would hate to see someone hurt playing around.
Dad worked for and retired from AT&T. Everything there was first class and labeled for safety. I love that industrial feel.

With your "muti-source" power supply decal, I would add all breaker, & panel locations at all the locations powered by them, and at the panel/breakers [cross mark them]! Even a homemade interlock would be better than no protection, not legal, but a better than nothing answer/approach. Harry

Absolutely... The panel is in the same room and I built an interconnect using machine screws and a coupling nut...

I recently moved from Massachusetts to Florida. The house I purchased included a 30‘ x 50‘ garage and it’s still not big enough. I took a couple of trailer loads myself and had a Upack trailer. Bring most of my stuff, when I got here, I had a bunch of lumber left over and decided to build the storage rack for all my yard tools. I also placed some E track below it to help hold a couple of things upright.

Here is some of the other shelving I have built. Most of them are over 9 foot high so I can get my car trailer in the garage if I need to work on it.

Really like the simplicity, yet usefulness, of this unit. May I ask the details?

It looks like each shelf is 2x4 (2x6?) frame, with the same as plywood supports. Then the same used for the exterior frame.

Any rigidity concerns? It looks like it may be bolted to the wall, which I suppose would handle that issue.

Thanks, from a shelving novice.

Everything is 2 x 4. Supports are at 2 foot on center with 8 foot shelves. I think I used half inch plywood and yes everything is bolted to the wall with leather anchors attached to the solid part of the cinderblock and large tap cons with that was not possible. I am 275 pounds and 6‘2“ tall. I can sit in the middle of any of those shells and bounce and there really is no give.

with that being said, the heaviest stuff is on the bottom shelf, which is resting right on the floor. The next couple of shelves are filled with things that I routinely need in the top shelf or two is rarely used items.

Once again, good advice from the forum. I never leave my charger plugged in, so I just set a mental reminder to unplug if after charging. But since CRS syndrome set in, and with my remembery/forgettery, I decided to order a charger timer.

Just ordered an "Indoor countdown timer", that I plan to plug the charger into. Then when I need to charge, just hit a button for however long I think it needs.

Thanks to all for your great advice all year round, and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!

The price just dropped on that timer from $11.99 to $10.19.

I think it was last year but can't remember for sure. I purchased the Xtreme Garage shelves at Menards. I went with the 30 inch deep shelves and went with the 96" tall ones because I wanted lots of space to store stuff. I got the wood shelf pieces they sell. Purchased some matching paint at Lowes and painted the shelves. Really very happy with these shelves. They have different depths and heights so you can mix and match to make whatever you want fit the space you have.

Runner1, great welding bench with every thing you need
I dont do any welding inside due to insurance requirements, I had to agree to not do any welding inside so all I have ever done is just roll it out the front door and shut it behind me

Picked a color long ago and had two extra pieces.
Painted them the same color and added as Im running out of room!

I like the light on the swinging boom...but either I need 1) more words, or 2) a larger photo that I can zoom in on (preferably both because I'm greedy) because I can't determine what it is that you are saying here. Two extra pieces of what?
Perhaps I'm the only one? (unfortunately it happens. )

edit: OK, I found the previous post from 2016 and a photo, I'll just put a link here in case anybody else gets confused as easily as I do. Nice upgrade on the light too. (at least it looks like you changed the light, could be an optical illusion/angle of photo and it's the exact same light?)

Took me a long time to find the old picture thanks for adding the link.
Have not changed the light since hanging it, but did change it from a flood light prior to LED.
It’s pictured as used. But cropped to hide all the **** under it.

I had the timer in my Amazon cart, but went another direction. I picked up the switch, and a box at Home Depot, added some wire and plugs.

Then it got mounted next to my battery storage and chargers.

You guys either made me waste $70 or saved my house from burning down. Either way, thanks.

Lee
You got the SKU ?

I can’t find one that fits in a normal outlet

That’s a great setup !

Lee, now I feel bad that you could have bought a $70 tool.

I have chargers in a garage cabinet. There was an outlet in there already so I replaced the single box with a double and put a timer like yours in the box. One of the outlets is on all the time and the timer turns on the one with the power strip plugged in.

Same question

Do you have the SKU ?

I can’t find a timer that fits in a regular outlet box
