A call for the host, RTM - Saukit got the box last year, but didn't open til this, does a USUCK count in 2024 for a good free pile?
the Evaporust in my unheated garage has frozen solid.
. No idea right now. Really depends on when he first posted, and how much I’ve been drinking when I tally the scoring, creatively.
-Figure it out!
I have no idea, but the Sauk is a river up here in Washington where I live…just a play on words!Saukit, that’s a town in Massachusetts right?

Pulled it out the top of a Craftsman stack filled with misc. junk. After buying the cross bar for $1, seller said give him a dollar more.

Also a great bow companyI have no idea, but the Sauk is a river up here in Washington where I live…just a play on words!

finally on the board for 2024

Rizzuto Estileto (Milano) switchblade. ... got it for $1
Funny! I got my KRA25 in 2021 for $8 also, complete with tray. I guess we set the market for them. Brought mine home on the back of my Road Glide with the Mrs. just shaking her head in disbelief riding between me and the Snap on gold. And yes, it is posted in the GS21 threadGood to see you on the board RTM.
Today was a cold, dreary day that turned rainy. I hit 2 fleas, the outdoor and then the indoor. Found some interesting things. KRA carry box, $8.
-Handful of Craftsman including pro screwdrivers and #2 phillips cushion grip & drive, unmarked cross bar, locking pliers, wrenches & cutter.
-Proto 70mm and Whitworth socket
-Bonney pliers and connecting rod socket
-Utica Lineman’s pliers
-Gray battery clamp pliers
-Kraeuter Grip-Cut ploers
-Master Mechanic adjustable
-Williams cutoff 2” thin box wrench
-Herbrand 1-1/4 single ender
-Vaco offset driver, Indestro pocket driver, advertising driver
-Barcalo embossed open end
-Inwesco penta socket
-Snap-On, Plomb, Matco, Mac misc.
-Greenlee screwholder
And this. Rizzuto Estileto (Milano) switchblade. I was prepared for a good haggle, but got it for $1. What a disappointment.Pulled it out the top of a Craftsman stack filled with misc. junk. After buying the cross bar for $1, seller said give him a dollar more.
Needs cleaning and lube inside to work better. Not sure which route to go with the plastic handle. I guess they are a pretty desirable old knife though.

Ragtop TA found a completed transitional logo ratchet repair box(es) at a flea market in Texas about 4 years ago. They were super cheap. And yes he *****!didn't somebody have a whole box full of plomb/proto ratchet repair parts?
raineman is going to need a little detent ball for a Herbrand H7 he's going to find under his Christmas tree.
somebody here had a mess of stuff....
A tool dealer was set up with lots of good odds and ends.
Looks like our missing day has returned. 3bay is off the hook.
Still having issues getting a thumbnail to come upA Ford stamped adjustment tool of some sort. The logo is faint but there. It's incomplete. I have to spend time researching the part number, wasn't finding good results.3bay, what is the short "breaker" in pic 1?
Definitely a good read.It's a hilarious read.
Nope. Thanks. Going on the list.
It's a good way to stay around the sport. I work some men's leagues in the summer down here for cash. High School is fun because it's good ball and you don't have to suffer any lip.

We're doomed!...it was out of gas.
Some of you will easily guess: it was out of gas.
We're doomed!
6 & 7/8 and saukit both **** for their freebies.
I have one of my own to add:
On our town's Everything Is Free Facebook group: just a picture and "Failed for us. Turns but won't start. Maybe you can get it to work."
The post was 20 minutes old. No address listed, but I looked it up his previous posts and hustled over there. As I pulled up, there was an large van idling next to the generator. I pulled up in front and walked back to talk to the lady in the driver's seat, thinking she might be waiting on someone to come help load the generator.
I pointed to the generator as she rolled down the window.
"Did you see that, too?" he said.
I paused as I reassessed that the lady sitting in the van was a trans man. Not that there's anything wrong with that--I just had to make a slight adjustment to my initial conclusions.
"Yes he has it listed for free on Facebook. He says it won't start."
SHE (obviously how she identified) paused to think a few seconds and then said "Eh, you can have it." Then, she drive off. I was able to muscle it into myvtruck and hauled it home.
A 5500W generator, Briggs and Stratton engine. Looks practically new.
Why did it fail to start, you might ask? What was wrong? Some of you will easily guess: it was out of gas. I filled the tank and it started on the second pull. I checked the gen set and it powered a corded hand tool. Works just fine....
I live in a mostly white-collar town, so this is surprisingly common. Anyone remember my free snow blower from last year? It only needed a $3 spring (and some gas) to start and run. If this guy had been a neighbor, I'd have wheeled the generator right back up his driveway. But instead, I'll flip it and hopefully have it sold in a week and put the proceeds into the woodshop fund. We're doomed!

On a bittersweet note, @pfaustus, guess who died? Fish! On Christmas day! Stepped on a nail at the flea market the week before. It got infected. Christmas eve, the ER sent him home with antibiotics. Next day he's in the Big Flea Market in the Sky, or mouthing off to Mephistopheles, one or the other. I overheard a couple other guys kibbitzing about the owners giving his partner-in-crime a week to clean out his area, which, I have to admit, is kind of harsh, and he wasn't exactly one of my favorite liquidators. I never thought I'd say this, but I will miss his obnoxious banter. RIP.
