I got an email this morning from SK that noted some Steals and Deals.

I was interested in picking up some more of their locking impact extensions but since the company changed ownership, is everything now made in China? I had picked up some of their locking extensions before they changed hands to Chinese ownership, and those extensions were USA made.

Lots of info here:

In short, modern SK is merely lookalike MiPRC tools. Any USA-stamped tools are old stock.

wow, blast from the past from SK. The old steals and deals were quite good pricing for good tools. Everything on there now is super expensive with questionable quality. $50 for a short 3/8" extension???!?! Dang....no thanks.

According to the header, it looks like that's the full price and the 50% off discount will be viewed in the cart. That would make that extension $25, down from $50.

My question is, will I get a $25 NOS USA extension or a $25 Taiwanese extension?

My bad, you are right. Makes pricing better, but not sure if I am interested in Taiwan tools for even the half price.....

Sad that the a USA brand established over a century ago has a website that specifies "USD" after the prices :(
That is the one part I wont complain about. Living near Canada it is handy to remember which is which in dollars

I had ordered the 1/2" locking impact 5" extension....the sale price was $30.80, plus tax and shipping brought it just over $39.00. And the extension does have USA stamped on it. So perhaps for some stuff, there is still USA made stock left. Just a FYI.

SK had put some additional items on their Steals and Deals. Two items that I ordered late last week and had came today were a 3/8” impact locking extension 6” long and a 1/2” universal impact 22mm socket. Both stamped USA
