New-Be here , from New Zealand. I've been lurking for a couple of weeks now, and thought it'd be best to get an into in.
Living in Palmerston North,New Zealand, slowly converting an old country school (one building , 2 classrooms) into our home. We've been here for 3 years now, and things are starting to look good for getting a new Shed/Workshop early next year.
Current shed lay out consist's of a small (6m x 5m) shed which has 2 pickups in it that I'm working on for a couple of mates/customers, then all my workshop gear is in Room 2 (7.5m x 7.5m) which also has a 32 frame in it which I'm building up for a mate in Oz, this will be getting a handbuilt 30 Model-A roadster pickup body on it. Room 2 will become our bedroom and a 3rd bedroom once I get my shed built.
This site/forum is fantastic. A big thanks to all those who post pic's of their shed's, and post info about how they build, heat, paint etc them too. Lots of info here which certianly will come in handy with my shed build.
At this stage we're going to be building a pole shed up next to the swimming pool (due to be put into action this coming summer) and will look similar to the Hall across the road (which is soon to be removed/relocated to another location about 10km's away) which also ties in with the school building and looks.
Once we're closer to building the shed , I'll start a build thread.
Cheers
