I've got a Delta belt sander, it has a 42x1 belt and a table/disc on the side. The belt wheels are black plastic and I see cracks in some of them. None of the parts places I've checked has the wheels. Any source suggestions? Thanks!

I noticed a Wilton belt sander in the hall at work that looks like it shares a lot of DNA with my Delta model. Anyone know the story on that? Who copied who?

The Delta and Wilton are probably made in the same factory in Taiwan.

The predecessor of this 1x42 was made in the US and [email protected] still fabricates and sells replacement parts for them. I bought some parts from him about 10 months ago. You might contact him and see if he has any compatible wheels for this model.

Jim got right back with me and has exactly what I need. Thanks for the pointer!

m32825,
Did you purchase the new set of wheels from Jim (jimliechty@yahoo)? With or without bearings? How have they worked out? I need a new set for my Delta 1x42 sander. Thanks!

Jim was great to work with and very responsive, a credit to GJ. He works mostly with the Delta 1x42 that's older than mine, but he was able to come up with a combination that worked. I was able to keep my "old faithful" going. Send him email and find out which model you've got to figure out your options.
