I'm looking for the aluminum trim that goes on Craftsman toolboxes, as shown in the photo. I've googled it and found older threads here and elsewhere that have outdated info. Anyone found anything recently?

I had this problem in the past. I ended up cannabalizing them off an older box I was getting rid of. Ridiculous that they're still selling these boxes but not selling parts.

Agreed; seems like they'd sell lots of the trim, since it's aluminum and gets bent, scratched and otherwise jacked up really easily.

I'd even settle for some trim that was a similar profile to what I posted above, or even something that fits, but looks different. HF has trim for their boxes, but it aint cheap.

I briefly searched drawer trim & edge molding, found some stuff that may work but not as appealing cosmetically.

The ones HF sells in stores is for "dress up" & IMO that's why they're expensive just like other tool box brands selling the same sort of stuff for their boxes.

Don't know if there's a HF tool box that has trim that will fit your application but if there is, it'll be much cheaper if you order it as a replacment part from HF. Depending on the size they're like $3-$5 ea or $3 for a 2pk of short ones.

BTW the picture posted, I have that same exact Sears Craftsman work bench. It was made by Waterloo & was sold as Waterloo also but unfortunately Waterloo is gone, sort of. Waterloo was bought out by SB&D. Maybe there's a Stanley or Dewalt box that might have the same or similar drawer trim. Could try emailing Staey or Dewalt?

I tried searching as well, but got nothing good or current. It's tough to order HF replacement parts because they either have none or you need the item number. I'll look again, though. Do you happen to have a link or part number?

I've emailed Craftsman and received a response asking for the model number and my mailing address. I'm waiting to see how they respond.

Yeah, the HF route might not be a viable option unless you know the trim for one of their boxes will work for your needs. And older series boxes arent available to look at in stores anymore. I just noticed the replacement trims listed in their replacement parts catalog.

Are you looking for smooth or ridged trim?
I recently bought a 52” top to go on a bottom box I bought about 2015. The older boxes trim is smooth and the new box has the ridged trim like your picture. I’d love to find some smooth trim for the top box to match the lower box..
if anyone has some and want to trade..

I have a HF box under my mill and I tried the trim on the drawers (it slides off with a little bit of effort). Looks like it will work, so I ordered some, using that item number as a reference. It was about $10 with free shipping. I'll just cut it to the proper length. It's not the same as the photo I posted at all, but it will give me the finished look I'm after.
Still haven't heard from Craftsman.

Have you tried contacting Craftsman support? I emailed them. Their response went to junk mail, so keep that in mind. They ask for an item number and a part number, which you might be able to find in the owner's manual. This is new enough that they might still have parts.

I got a quote from Waterloo: $20 shipped for one 23-1/4" and two 12-3/4" pieces. However, I ended up ordering some trim from Harbor Freight for about half that, including free shipping:
