Alarm panel updates after fiber optic conversion

My house had an old ADT/honneywell alarm panel that had hard wired windows, doors, and motion detectors. It had a land line for monitoring to a central system.
When I converted to fiberoptic and all streaming , I lost the ability to have the system contact a central system. I didn't want to scrap the old system with something new, so I put n this neat auto dialer. It gets tripped by the alarm going off and sends out texts, phone calls, and emails to designated numbers.
In my mind, this is better than a monitoring service (no cost also) because the message goes straight to me and I can make the decision of what to do. IMG_0687.jpeg

I like this solution. Have you tested it?

So, your service has no POTS capability?

That's a really old Honeywell system if it only has an RJ-11 interface. You might want to look at a Vista 21-P or similar. We have an IP interface with cellular as a backup. You can connect to Resideo (spun off from Honeywell) Total Control to access the system from a phone or computer.

The wires on the side go to the alarm out wires which are 12 volt. That's what actually powers the unit.
So, parallel connection with the siren? When the IP Dialer sees power, it initiates it's process?
