I followed a Cornwell truck up Rt. 15 in Gettysburg,PA . He turned east on Rt. 30 and stopped @ a golf car dealer. I also saw a Matco truck parked @ an independent shop on Rt. 30. I spotted a nice looking snap on truck at a car dealership in northern Maryland. What are the rest of you seeing out on the road? Feel free to share your sightings even if you never intend to step foot on a tool truck. These are February 22, 2024 sightings.

Snap on dropped off a locker and a box here today, saw him again going down the road on my way home. Matco crossed the bridge with me last week, our guy didn't show last Friday.

They must have found a sucker entrepreneur to take over Mac in my area. Just saw a new Bread Van, but didnt catch the name. Previously, we had what must have been a Company Driver running a Freightliner medium duty. Prior to the last guy, we havent had a driver in 10 years.

Im guessing corporate must have had the company man cover the area to fatten up the numbers to land a new franchisee. I wish him luck. Even SO seems to have disappeared. Im sure hes still running the route, but just dont see much of him. Used to see him every other lunch hour it seemed.

I thought about this thread the other day with the Cornwell tool truck sitting somewhere. A few days later, I passed the Cornwell semi on US 30 heading west.

The tractor has a huge cab on it. It makes me wonder if they have one semi truck set up for tool delivery to the tool truck or regional location.

Not sure if they sponsor any motorsports that it would be hauling that stuff.

I followed a Matco truck on US 340 in Elkton,VA. He kept going south, I turned East on US 33. That's probably the only tool truck I will see this week.

Stahlwiile is increasing their presence here in the US. More trucks being put into service here in the US each month Screenshot 2024-03-07 at 3.32.19 PM.png

I couldnt even imagine the difficulty in convincing a typical mechanic to go with Stahlwille. Unless theyre a total tool afficianato or work on Euros its not happening, at least at typical Stahwille prices. Selling Mac or even Snapon is hard in this day and age and they have a long history in NA.

Nothing against the Stahlwille brand and I hope they make inroads across the country, just looking at her $500,000 investment there and wondering if it was her best use of funds ! I wish her the best of luck in a tough business.

I did see a snap on truck driving north on rt. 11 in Harrisonburg, VA. Didn't have the time/ money to chase him down, but I did give him a big wave. I believe I saw 2 human beings in the truck.

I saw a Snappy truck on Stevens Creek Blvd at Lawrence Expressway today at 3:30 pm
Couldn't snap a pic nor see who the driver is.
Too much going on, cars scurrying around in all directions....

I stop in on the trucks every once in a while when I need something.
Always good to make friends with the drivers

I did see a cornwell and an SK, both just once early in the year.

I see two Snap-On trucks coming thru town daily,
they must work together, since I see them both getting fuel at the same time to.

My shop every Tuesday afternoon.

Now that's something I've never ******* seen before. Normally the tool trucks don't even visit the same shops on the same day. At least around this part of AZ.

That's how it was at my CAT shop, and every other shop I've worked at or visited my dealers at.

I've only seen a second truck pull up while another truck was still there maybe twice, at most.

Company requirement. Told them they can all be here between noon and 5 pm. That way they get both shifts. Makes it easy since I don’t need to remember different days for different trucks.

Pretty sure I saw that same one fueling at the Liberty right off the 243 exit. Might have been the same day. Who knows. I didn't consider it a thing.

I saw Hector in his Snap On truck on Winchester Blvd again this morning.
Was running right on time for a doctor's appointment, so I didn't pull over to take a pic.

Reusing an older pic of Hector's truck
Same place

Saw the MAC truck just off Fullerton and Fairbank in Addison. I was tempted to run him down and grab some of those French made Duratek screwdrivers but I have so many screwdrivers already and let common sense guide me today.

We are visiting our daughter's family in Chicago and while we were out driving from one place to another we passed the Snap-On tool factory outside of Chicago but I was not quick enough to get my phone camera out :(. Everything turned green here in a period of about a week late in April, I was told. We are headed out for a Mother's Day luncheon so happy Mother's Day for anyone who qualifies.
