Wondering if anyone has experience with the AMGO 407-P Four Post Lift? Also seems to be branded as PEAK 407-P. I love the small footprint in this lift as I have limited width in my garage. The lift does not carry ALI certification but is CE Certified if that means anything… it’s a 7000 lb capacity lift and I wouldn’t be using it for anything over about 3500 lbs. Would love feedback from anyone who may have experience with this lift in particular, or general feedback about the AMGO/PEAK brand.

Also, if anyone knows of another 4 post lift which has similar footprint (95” width and 155” length w/o ramps)

Can't speak to that model lift but I've got a Peak 2 post 10,00lb unit. Been very happy with it so far and seems well made. They've just introduced their first ALI certified lift but it's still a 2 post unit.
AMGO just rebrands the Peak Lifts as their own. If you read the manuals for both, they are identical even down to all the spelling mistakes lol.

I don't have a 4 post but I have an Amgo and an Atlas 2 post. Pretty sure the Atlas in made by Peak also. I have had absolutely zero issues with either and they get used daily in a repair shop.

You bought a OH-12s late last year correct? Liking it? Glad to hear no issues.

I have seen minor quality control issues with my AMGO during the not yet finished assembly. Definitely not Rotary quality, but nothing bad or overly concerning to report. Some not-so-great welds, but nothing structurally concerning at this point.

Correct. I agree that it's a bit crude and definitely not going to win any beauty awards but it functions completely fine for me so far. Not a Rotary by far, but at a third the price of a Rotary I am more than happy with it. It has had 3/4 and 1 ton pickups up and down on it basically every day since it has been installed and never missed a beat.

Did you buy it, I'm considering the same.
I have not purchased it yet. Still shopping around to see if any other options exist with similar footprints. Not finding much that has a footprint as small at the 407-P. I just wish it was an 8000lb lift with 3/8” cables. The peak only has 5/16” cables. It likely makes no difference as I won’t be putting anything over 3500lbs on it, but I like things to be way stronger than necessary.

I wouldn't loose any sleep with the 5/16" cables. The lift itself really limits the size of vehicle you can put on it. My F150 truck is to long to fit on this lift and still wouldn't exceed 7000Lb even fully loaded. In fact it barely fits on my Bend Pak HD9. The HD9 is rated for 9000# and uses 3/8" cables. If you plan to use it like me this will be a strictly storage lift and the ramps will be down on the locks 99% of the time. And cables will be relatively rarely exercised.

I did end up getting the Peak/Amgo 407-P. I’ll report back once I get it all assembled and run it a bit. Let me know if you have any questions.
Any updates on the Amgo 407-P? I am looking at buying a couple myself for similar reasons (narrow, small garage).

For what it’s worth, I have a 408-P on the way. I’ll report back when it’s up and running.

How do you guys like your Amgo lifts? I'm finally in the market for one and these are interesting.

I still like my Amgo 12k 2-post after a couple of years of use now, have not had any real issues with it at all. I do not use it commercially, it lives in my home shop for personal use. My only real wish is that it lifted higher/had longer cylinders. I'm height limited. Build quality is good enough?! I found/added adjustable pads. Not a ton of support for parts and accessories but they exist. I would not be afraid to purchase a 4-post with the Amgo label on it.
