Mac 30 tooth ratchets/repair kits NLA!

I sent in an old mrrk-a 1/4” ratchet repair kit that was stripped out, in hopes of getting another one.. and Mac sent it back with a form stating they no longer make repair kits for these old 30 tooth ratchets. Most of them on the website say “out of stock” or “call Mac” …
This kit was just laying in a drawer and really was to be tossed out after it was replaced last time around… my ratchets DO all work at the moment

I know it’s an old antiquated clunky design, but I didn’t think they would abandon them this quickly… I thought they’d at least make the repair kits for years to come, even if they stopped making the handles.

Has anyone geeked out and found a way to get kits for these? I have two 1/4” versions and one 3/8”, two of them being “spin flex” ratchets, which I’d hate to lose in a warranty exchange if they ever strip out again

Are they giving a new 90 tooth replacement? I have a 1/2 that has sentimental value, might have to just hang it up.

It's always been surprising to me that someone didn't engineer a fine tooth drop in kit for these to sell off to MAC. Love the feel of the old ratchets in my hand, but have always hated the mechanism.

Ah, gotcha! I'd still NOT want to trade my 1/2 in...my Dad found it in the 80s along a highway and it's been in all my boxes since.
