Nice. Snap-on vacuum grip brake tool. I don’t think I have one of those. I usually don’t see two date stamps on postwar tools. Very cool.

What does your molded shank say?
Keeping with the theme Old Radar started in the GS thread, found this 1/2” spinner today with one socket.
The socket has no markings. Question for those who might know. Maybe Snapmom or OTG? Is that normal? I’ve seen them with markings.
I see the set in the 1928 catalogs but not sure how long the run was. Need to research.
Logo’s been rubbed down.
Interesting how the set came with a cross bar.

This is my first time coming across the 1/8 drive stuff also. I'm pretty sure very limited run not sure how much stuff they made in that drive size. According to the 71 cat I have it with just the driver and the 4 sockets. You got any insights into that? The 9/32 dr crow foots are hard to find
I guess I fell victim to trusting the collecting snap-on site again. Says they were only made from 1970 -1999. But at least I got to see how outrageously they are priced. We'll see how they do on ebay. Thanks for the infoSnap on still makes the 1/8 dr set. there are a couple of versions.

That's an early one if your looking to sell or trade feel free to reach out I need one of those to finish a set. Some people ask crazy prices just how it goes. The non gripper m4s usually sell for like 40-150 on ebay if you take the last like 20 sold as the referenceEstate sale find yesterday in the final hour of the last day. Shaft and ferrule were completely rust encrusted and the wood handle encased in dried gunk. I knew a blunt square shaft in a wood handle was worthy of further investigation, and with the help of a near-by wire brush, saw I had an early SO spinner. After clean-up at home I was able to determine it to be an M-4 Midget Ignition Handle, first seen in the 1931 catalog and last noted with a wood handle in 1937.
Edit: Just saw on ebay a 1934 coded M-4 on "sale" for $809. It's been posted since Aug '23 and has the SO name on the shaft and Bluepoint on the ferrule in addition to the date code. I've seen other examples on this thread with date codes and ferrule stamps but, after a thorough examination, I can say mine has neither.
