Hey guys,
I’m trying to build some wall mounted tractor seat stools that are able to swivel to hang off the side of a low deck bar I’ve built.
I’m trying to figure out what the best bearing I can use given the cantilever force of someone sitting about 24” or so from the mounting point. So far I’m thinking a flanged sleeve bearing on a 1/2 shaft but am wondering if any of you gurus have a better idea? I don’t want to break the bank, and want to do this as economical as possible, but I don’t want them to seize or break in a season either. They will have minor exposure to the elements as I plan to lift them off and store them when not in use.
