It's that time of year, June 16th. What are you getting? I mean gift-wise. Any useful gadgets for those of us with too many tools?

These Headlamps are super convenient, the wide light strip helps with shadows. Can probably be found for less since there's 50 different brands with the same model.

Depends where you are in life and what you need. I got my dad some bourbon glasses with this design: https://www.inkpixi.com/a875

If you have everything I usually think upgrades. Nicer versions of whatever you use the most.

I just bought a 2 pack of these. They are bright. And work well. However, the motion sensor is a pain. I was working under the dash in a tight space and every time I moved my head, the motion sensor would turn the light on or off Since it would be close to something under there. I turned off the motion sensor feature.

I like the headlight flashlight idea. I could have used one today in the attic. My helper had one he bought at the orange store and it charges.

Getting my Dad a set of Waterford Crystal Martini Glasses.
It's a bit of a splurge but he is 85 and I don't want to be regretting not doing more when he's gone.
My folks enjoy a Martini so why not.

I really enjoy Maker's Mark bourbon. I've been an "ambassador" for over a decade. It's really easy to sign up for this club. They have given me assorted discounts on whiskey tastings and distillery tours and whatnots and always send an inexpensive gift every Christmas. For Father's Day this year I was able to have a custom label printed for my brother with his name and the date of this year's Father's Day on it. Just filled out a form and had the label in less than a week. It has a sticky back to put over the existing label on the 750ml I bought for him. Totally free!

Wife will probably take me out to a restaurant or fix something special, and buy me some special expensive beer. None of the family have any idea what tools or books I might need/want unless I give them very specific information--otherwise there is a good chance that I already have the tool or book. But I like a consumable like a special meal or some good beer etc.

Nothing wrong with a great meal out on the town with family!
