I have all three styles including the Snap On version. Can confirm, as the other person mentioned, the SL style Bahco ratchets are 72 teeth while the sealed head and Snap On Dual 80 style ratchets are 80 teeth, except the 1/4" drive version of the Dual 80 ratchets which are also 72 teeth.
Also, the entire heads if the SL style ratchets are smaller than the internals of the Dual 80 ratchets so they are definitely not the same. They feel different when ratcheting too. The SL is louder and not as smooth. The ratcheting noise is a bit higher pitched, like a baseball card in bicycle spokes. I know the Bahco sealed head is made in Spain and the Snap On is made in US, but I don't know for sure where the SL is made.
I was going to take it apart to post a few pictures of the SL internals, but I have no idea how to remove that blind circlip without damaging it out the ratchet, and if I'm going to damage it, I'd rather it be in the line of duty or for an actually attempted repair.

I think both lines are owned by SB&D, but the two pix you posted look like different ratchets, particularly the handle & finish. The Proto knurled handle is rather unique; the Mac handle reminds me more of the Snap-on/Williams chrome handle.

They are indeed sister ratchets, made in the same factory in Dallas, TX. Only differences are minor ones - handle style (knurling on Proto, while MACs are available in comfort grip handles as well), and the engraving on the heads. The heads are otherwise identical, as is the finish on both ratchets. I don't know why Proto's product images make the Precision 90 ratchets look like they have a satin finish - they don't, they are full polish chrome. Same selector switch and same internals, both using 90 tooth gears.

The mac guy showed up and I just bought another one. The new axis ratchets have screws all the way through the heads now so they dont look the same. I was pretty disappointed how they changed it like that. I assume they had problems with the small torx heads and gaskets or something. The mac and proto are exactly the same price around here.
Old part number is xr1390k and the new part number is xr1390ak. Price went up 10 to 15 bucks as well.

if that is correct the sl versions are 72 teeth. I only have the version of 1/2 came with an extension and 3 socket, I remember that it was made in Argentina but I don't know if it was the set or just the socket.

No. The MATCO hardline sockets share nothing with Gearwrench. Now, the MATCO imported silver eagle line sockets share similarities with crescent & perhaps Gearwrench but, they probably share more with SATA tools.

No, Matco hasn't had any connection to Apex since Danaher/cooper owned them all. DANAHER sold Apex to Bain Capital but retained Matco, Keithley, tektronix, Fluke, etc. DANAHER did a "spin off" not too long ago so now those companies are under another publicly traded entity called Forgive. https://www.fortive.com/our-businesses/business-directory

That is exactly what I was thinking.
Someone indicated GearWrench extra long ratchet flex head/non ratcheting 0 degree box 86126 is equivalent to Matco SRFBZLM102TA.
The GearWrench wrenches ARE NOT equivalent to Matco. I have both now and can confirm the two measure and perform differently due to their design. Particularly on the 14mm the GearWrench is inferior on 14mm hex fasteners. Matco overall is more straight, nicer finished, slimmer everywhere (better access) and nicer components.
Not at all hard to tell the difference. The only similarity is the type of wrench (double box XL single flex spline). Saying these are the same is like saying Craftsman and Snap on combination wrenches are the same. I hate the 14mm GW I got. I do wish Matco was cheaper (even though it is nice). Over $500 for a made in Taiwan set is insane.

I really like this light. One issue, at least in the ez-red version, is the battery does not seem to be "protected". And if fully discharged (light left on), the electronics will refuse to charge it.
If that happens, your options are somewhat limited. There are some tricks to force-charging these lions, I don't recommend it.
I was able to track down a replacement. It's not a standard 3.7 lion, and the connector is proprietary as well. I bought the battery below, and (CAREFULLY) spliced the OEM connector onto the new battery. The new battery is protected, and in theory should shut the battery down before the charge gets too low.

Is this mic still on? Matco rebrand delivery today. More on the way possibly, will edit if I get around to adding it. Interestingly enough I think all of these lights and chargers are mainly coming from the EU as I can find multiple rebrands in Europe for this stuff.

These Toyota filter housings will seize up no matter what you do and can really be a pain. The main go-to is a Blue-Point OFTOY468 but this PBT is a very close second IMHO. I got to see one to use in the shop today after someone had already mangled theirs pretty good at home and brought it in and seeing that convinced me to order myself one.

The Snap On WBSET wire brush set appears to be the made in the same Cambodian factory as the Richard 03234 available from Sutherlands. The Snap On retails for about $20 and the Richard for about $6. Granted, the Snap On set contains two brass and one stainless steel, where the Richard is one brass, one stainless steel, and one polypropylene. The US patent number listed on each is the same so I think it’s not a stretch to call the Richard an “equivalent.”
