I'm 6'2, have been getting fat and am likely ~195lb now. They're a bit shorter than ideal, but they fit me well. I have a fairly short torso relative to my limbs though.

EDIT: I wear a Large.

None of my ANSI reflective shirts from 2 years ago fit anymore.

We're fat, dude.

I need to knock up a girl so I can say it's a dad bod.

We don't discuss clothing very often, but I'm very particular about what I buy (I like good value for money). You can wash these hundreds of times and they just keep going.

These are probably the best T shirts you can buy IMHO (other colours available along with regular 15% discounts and accurate sizing chart).

I know they seem very expensive, but you get what you pay for (USA Cotton and made in Japan on vintage American equipment managed by British people).

They run a tad smaller than most of my other XLs, but certainly not enough to jump a size.

I loathe “heavy duty,” “beefy,” or other thick t-shirts. I want those things so thin I can see through them.

I hate long, baggy arms on a shirt, 3-4 inches above the elbow.

No one under the age of 77 tucks a t-shirt in, so there’s no reason for them to hang down to your crotch.

I’m pretty partial to the Bella Canvas shirts for graphic tees. Grunt Style shirts are about perfect. Tommy Bahama and Marine Layer make pretty good T-shirts, too.

If it's really hot where you live it's totally understandable, I just got back from Greece and had to wear linen shirts when I wasn't near the pool or the Ocean.

I had to quit graphic/logo T Shirts sometime in my mid Thirties, as it made me look like an old guy hanging on to my Youth 😂

Old navy for me. They have tall sizes, which I need, and regularly go on sale for $7-9

I think I would look silly with an untucked T and suspenders!

IF 6'2" at 195 is fat, a lot of us are in trouble..

FAA has a standard passenger weight of 170 pounds per person. Which makes "passenger capacity" an interesting subject.

I'm 6'4" 210-215 and am definitely carrying a little extra weight. Bmi is right at 26, too.

I bet 6'2" 195 is similar

Edit, just got on the scale... 207!

I was happy with my weight around 185 on the gym scale, so wearing lighter shoes and shorts/shirt. I'm taking a break from the gym, so it's crept up. Really what I needed was 190lb with the same fat % as 185.

Wait until they find out I'm 33, and that makes me old.

It will 101 degrees today, with a Heat Index of around 117. Its warm.

I am in my mid forties, and still wear t-shirts with stuff on them. Boring shirts are boring.

6'6" 245 and I don't see myself as fat but maybe I am. I was a varsity rower in college and 220. My problem is lengths and potentially hazardous plumber ****. I wear carhartt tee shirts which I think run both long and large. XL is more than good enough for me in carhartt. Even my hoody is just an XL. I think most of my workwear is carhartt.

I don't like looking like a short Vanilla Ice so I wear plain shirts.

A bit off topic: For 6'2", one chart lists "normal" weight as from 148-193. BMI calculation for 6'2"/195 lbs is 25 which does put you at overweight. Interestingly, if you were 194 lbs, at 6'2" your BMI would be normal. You're doing good compared to most Real 'Muricans (tm)!

So, what you're saying is he's one healthy dump away from normalcy? :ROFLMAO:

There’s a pretty wide chasm between Vanilla Ice and a Snap On t-shirt.

Again, plain shirts are boring shirts, and boring shirts are boring. The only thing worse that a plain, t-shirt is a plain t-shirt with a pocket. If you’re tucking it in and wearing suspenders…then carry on. Not much you can do to save that one.

I wear almost all plain t shirts in various colors, but this is one of my favorites that isn't plain

Carhartt tee-shirts are definitely cut for those of us on the heavier side, and help hide a fondness for beer.

I like Carhartt long sleeve tees for winter wear, but they are like wearing a burlap sack in the summer.

Have you heard of the military cavalry group that was led by Teddy Roosevelt? Due to war shortages, they were issued underwear made out of burlap. Henceforth, given the nickname the "rough riders". :ROFLMAO:

Is that naked weight, or clothed weight? Shoes add up! When I stopped going to the gym a few months ago I was close to 190 and I know I've added 2-3lb since then. IMO my issue is a lower muscle mass versus total weight. 190 would be fine if I had added 2-3lb of muscle and 1-2lb of fat. In the mid 180s, 184-186, I had visible abs while doing no ab specific work. I had slowed down my attendance, and I saw my weight climb within 6 months to the 186-189lb range.

On thread topic, I find the large shirts a bit short. If I put my hands straight up you can see a little skin below my shirt. So for people with less "stubby torso" proportions than me I could see them being small. Their jackets used to be unwearable for me, as the sleeves were WAY too short, didn't even come to my wrists. Some Carhartt jackets were like this and left my hands very cold. The vender snap-on uses for the coats has changed something, because they're now properly long as are their hoodies.

^^^for years every shirt I've bought has been too short. For some reason "tall" are tough to find in typical sizes for me.

Fixed that unfortunately, in 2021 put on almost 60lbs, plenty of tall xl and XXL shirts out there. Not exactly sure WTF happened, diet hadn't changed but FWB moved away and I finished my c-19 boosters. Making it a goal to loose half that this summer, boy is it stubborn.

I applaud you for banging a girl for 60lb worth of calories per year. And I thought I had stamina.

I complained to my wife that the clothes dryer was making my clothes too tight.
She said it was the refrigerator making them tight, not the clothes dryer.

In reality I found it depends on where it's made.
Vietnam, China, India or similar; Large is really medium.
Made in USA; Large is usually large.

No, they just give them to me. "Free shirt". Just like I wear the HJE shirts I got for "free" buying $250 worth of tools.
I pay for mine, just like I would fine art. The one almost was. The cat one might drive my Avatar batshit, so I said no. He did try to attack a 3' tall metal chicken a few weeks back.

Cool store. I take away the word "neppy" from a product listing.

I grew out of my size large shirts for a few years, but I fit in them again.

It wasn’t the shirts… it was me.

It is so easy to put on and so hard to take off. I have no easy solution… you just have to stay with it. I did not want to have to go on high blood pressure medication and diabetes medication. That was my biggest incentive. I still have a ways to go.

I take the dog on a walk, then drop her off at home and go walk more by myself. It probably is not as good as a real workout, but it has been working for me. We were at a restaurant the other night, and my wife said that she could tell that I was losing weight from my face thinning out.
