Old Dremel Set at Thrift Shop

Cruising through a local thrift shop found this old dremel set, Model No. 2 KIT CAT. NO. 222 for $6.99. I passed on it because I have too much stuff. Wish modern dremels came in such a nice metal box.

I totally pay attention to boxes at the swap. My dremel box got replaced with a better one.

Pretty sure that’s the Dremel I got for Christmas in 1966 or 1967. Still have it……somewhere.

I used it a year or so ago.

Thrift shop the dremel was at has outlets for testing. When I was more active looking for things at thrift shops and garage sales I would carry a little pouch with an assortment of batteries to test items. No use buying junk I don't need that doesn't even work!

Good self control though, I wish I could say no to a nice looking durable box.

I already have 2 dremels, but if I’d have seen that, I would have 3.

I picked up one of those at a flea market two months ago for $5.00. Could not believe the price was that low... Same as pictured, but missing the pamphlet.
Now looking for the stand for it like this one:




These will only fit the older model No. 2 and No. 3 Dremel bodies.
