QR Codes might be encoded with a different algorithm or encoding (Numeric, Alphanumeric, Byte Mode, Kanji Mode, ECI Mode).

QR Codes might be encoded with a different error correction level (L, M, Q or H). The higher the error correction is set the bigger the QR Code gets.
They've gotten complex since we first started in with them.

The trailer has a stuck brake, be of the rears and they are really hard to get to, already hit it with the big hammer, but there is t enough room to swing it. I have a smaller hammer, hopefully I can get it freed up before it starts raining. I guess I should have hooked it up early, but this is the first time I have ever had the brakes stick at all. Unfortunately it has been parked in the dampest area, and we have had a lot of rain, guess I will have to cage the brakes the next time I leave it in one spot for months. :(

Got the brakes freed, but didn’t have any hydraulic oil for the trailer, it was all at the Salvage Garage, so that is where I am now. Also unwrapped one of the printers that arrived, the seller packed it with tissue paper, newspaper, and a couple small pieces of bubble wrap. You guessed it, smash city. Looks like the entire insides got pushed away from the rear housing, ***** because this was the newest version of the printers and was really a great deal.

The last few days have been hot and humid (for us anyways), I am about done with all this heat and swampy feeling. :(

Going to the camps this morning to meet the crew doing the vapor barrier installation. I do have to pull out the water pump and pressure tank first, so I will be there early. For some reason they wouldn’t give a firm start time, just a two hour window, so I may be hanging out for a bit.

Is that a fairly expensive process to have done? Thinking about having it done to my house, but seem unable to get someone to come out and even give me a quote.

It is not inexpensive, 900 square feet and it is going to be about 15k, I just hope it holds the issues.

They showed up at 10:30 almost on the nose, then they tell me there is no dehumidifier. Straightened out now, but was a bit of a clusterfack at first. I am going to check on them, then I think I will be heading out so I can try and do something more productive. I did get to start my sock return for Darn Tough, I had 24 pairs of socks to return. I had been saving the older ones, then when I bought some new ones last year the sizing was different. They still won't acknowledge that something has changed, my old large socks (stretched out and worn) are the same size as the new medium socks, the new large ones were about an inch too long even after washing them in hot water and drying them on high heat. I had to stop wearing them, they would just bunch up under my foot and cause pain or annoying pressure. I have to mail them out, going to try and do that today, then it is done.

Is that with the "All things basementy" guy?
That must be a nationwide franchise. I've seen the same slogan on trucks down in the mid Atlantic area last summer.

I don't need 24 pairs of new ones, but I am not going to throw away lifetime warranty socks. I wear wool socks year round and there are several different thicknesses and heights that I wear depending on time of year. When a pair wore out, I didn't replace them right off, just put them in a bin on the top shelf in my closet. Last year when I had to replace a bunch of my non lifetime warranty socks, I bought all new lifetime ones and that was when I found that they don't fit like they used to. So I had to buy a couple more pairs to make sure I knew what size would work or if I was going to have to go with a different brand. I used to use LL Bean, but they ditched the lifetime warranty a few years back. I am sure this is TMI, but I am really picky about my socks (guess I like my feet), when I take my boots off at night, the boots go on a boot dryer, yes even in the summer, then my socks go on the opposite boot so they get rotated from one foot to the other. This will offset the stretch and wear and tear from my big toe, also changes the wear pattern on the heel. As long as they don't stink, I usually change them out two or three times a week. I find that the boots I wear will eventually destroy the socks just above my heel and where the boot and my big toe hit, it takes longer with the thicker socks than the thin ones I wear in the summer. When I traveled all the time I would have enough socks for every day of the week as you would never know what the conditions would be or when you were going to be able to do laundry. Do you also want to know about my underwear?

Do you have 24 pairs of underwear as well?

I have a lot of socks, I go through them quite quickly. I probably buy 12+ new pairs of socks a year but I only keep enough for 2 weeks at a time. I change them every day. I don't put my boots on a dryer though, never done that before.

Just seemed like a ton of socks that I knew weren't all the socks you owned.

I own at least 14 pairs of exofficio underwear, those get changed after every shower, so at least once a week.....

I had a job years back that I ended up having serious issues with the wrong type of clothing, after upgrading things, I haven't looked back and have never had a problem since. I have lots of socks, probably 50 pairs, only ones that aren't wool are my A-1 Steak sauce socks I got for Christmas one year and my "wedding" socks that I wear at other people's weddings. I have tried synthetic socks, but I am not a fan, merino wool is my go to material. I use Duluth trading undershirts I think they summer ones are called armachillo and they have another style I wear in the cooler months, all Vee necks. I used to wear blended pants because they dry quicker, would probably use them still if I was just climbing towers, but they melt with any sparks, so grinding or welding makes expensive pants into shorts. So even in the hot months I am wearing cotton pants and long sleeve shirts. In the winter I wear carhart sweatshirts that have a quarter zip and I usually cut the hood off (I can get some styles without them) as I don't like the thicker hood pushing on my back while driving. I honestly probably have 50 hooded sweatshirts, they rarely totally die, but they get dirty enough that I buy new ones to "keep clean", then they get dirty and the cycle starts over again. I would have to say that I have far more clothes than my girlfriend, I don't even want to discuss the jacket situation.

Jesus Strouty...

I don't work outside anymore but when I did I wore these pair of jeans that would always rip in the same spot. Warranty them and buy new pairs and it would happen again. Finally I Switched to Ariat and never looked back, although shortly after it was office for me. I do abuse my clothes pretty good though.
Yeah hot months I'd wear a long sleeve but it would be one of those light synthetic ones. I've done a hoodie too but I sweat so much it makes me look like I jumped in a pool.

I found some blended T-Shirt material faux hooded sweatshirts that I use, they hold up well and are cheap, I have a dozen or so of those.

I think the issue is typical, the clothes that get so dirty that they look like you have been rolling in a grease pit when they come out of the dryer, well, I can't just toss them and goodwill wouldn't even use them for rags, so I hang them up and use them when I know I will be getting really grubby. I should just toss some, but I don't. I kind of pull a Steve Jobs where almost all of my stuff is the same color so I don't have to put much thought into that part. It is tough because an office day (wearing not grubby clothes) can easily get effed up with one simple, "just need to check this piece of equipment out", then you end up with a streak of grease across the front of some tan pants and all the sudden they are now grubby clothes. I do keep things in multiple places, so I have stuff on hand, sometimes I am not smart enough to put the grubbiest ones on before I dive in. I always wanted to buy cheap clothes, but they never fit me so I felt comfortable, once I find something I like I usually buy several of them and just put them in the closet waiting for them to be needed. From doing tower work you have to have lots of layers and most of them are fancy expensive materials, they don't get as dirty as quick. All it takes is one piece of equipment to need some sort of repair and then before you know it you have grease or hydraulic oil all over things. I don't have a lot of choices with fitment on my upper body either, I have broad shoulders and a big back, so I need 2XL tall, regular 2XL makes me look like I outgrew my sleeves, and 3XL fits my arms, but makes me look like I am wearing a dress. Carhart has always had the best offerings if you want a 2XL Tall sweatshirt or jacket, that is why I buy their stuff. High fashion with grease!

The tank is a 1900 Liter, so just over 500 gallons. I suspect that it has about 150 gallons of oil in it, maybe more. I am going to try and get to unloading it tomorrow morning. I am now over at the Salvage Garage, got to pack up the broken printer and ship it back. I did get my socks shipped out, put $600 of insurance on them just to cover my a$$. I have two people interested in the big propane furnaces, so maybe I can get those gone this month.

I think my trouble with all the task manager programs is that they are really based on due dates and almost nothing I do has an actual due date. A lot of my lists are "waiting for" (from GTD), omnifocus is what seems to be the least "due date" oriented. Ultimately the issue is that I am just spread too thin and have become less effective as more gets added. I am about to do a big reset to save my sanity, moving from the Hill should help this, but it is also causing some extra stress.

Next week is essentially gone, between the tower lighting upgrades and the Fourth I am going to have little time to do anything for myself. I suspect that I will meet with the tower crew in the morning, then should be able to escape for a while, I just need to be available in case there is an issue that needs to be resolved.
Have struggled with bouncing around various fancy complex task programs etc all a waste of time for me.

What has worked was a phone reminders list that gets everything that needs done dumped in it, some are massive tasks, some are tiny. Another reminders list for long term dreamer projects. Another reminders list for loaned/borrrowed equipment/tools.

A short term list with next day or three specific tasks goes on paper, folds up and goes in pocket, is opened up an updated while I eat meals or am at parts counters waiting etc. Delete the completed items from phone later next time I'm entering something. The pocket paper accumulates other notes during the week so they don't go on random paper that gets lost. When the pocket paper is full or in tatters, a new one is started and if there is info I need on the old paper I take a picture of it before it gets pitched. The pocket paper is like a shops daily task chalk board to me.

At least today they called before they left so I didn't have to wait for them at the Camp. I didn't bring much for tools and the outer door needs to be removed, so I may have to go and get some hand tools, need a deep socket and ratchet to get the bolts off. I already looked in Dad's shop and there are essentially no tools at all. :(

Dad tells me a couple weeks ago that he ordered new lights for the Camp on Amazon. He said they haven't been delivered yet and he can't find them in his amazon orders. I tried to walk him through things over the phone, then had him send me some pictures of what he was up against. He sends me some random printed out pages from a website for lights. I ask him for a picture of the screen, he sends me a zoomed in picture that is clearly not amazon and I ask him for a larger shot of the screen, he tells me he can't and that this was the best he could do. I figured out it is google ads that he sent to me, not amazon, but at this point he is all mad and says he is on amazons website and that he knows how to get there. Google shopping ads are not always the greatest of links, so now I am trying to figure out if the reason he hasn't gotten the lights he "ordered" yet is because they have scammed him. Just what I need, have enough **** going on. I really feel like he shouldn't order anything online without supervision at this point.

It does appear to be a legit site, not a great site, but not a scam site. I am just worried because he can't tell the difference between actually being on amazon and searching google, that scares the **** out of me. :(

That will be a hard decision for you to have to make, but you have to protect the investment
that has been made. Talk to your Attorney and his if he will talk to you about what you see
going on, protect yourself. I don't trust to many people when it comes to finances and family tops
that list.

I haven't had a chance to see things now that the spray foam has set up. The "door" they added was ridiculous, will need to be reworked, but not touching it until after I get my reimbursement from the state. There are no hinges and no insulation, seems ridiculous for $850, but it was part of the requirements for the rebate check.

I feel for you. We are dealing with my M-I-L who has turned into something of a closet hoarder: I HATE HOME SHOPPING CHANNELS! There is no lie, an entire room in her home filled with lock-n-lock storage containers, all brand new in the box. And she basically keeps ordering this mess.
