Here is my haul, got a free PEC rule as well. First time I can actually see the reason for Second marking on these. Gonna keep these black ones handy for the high contrast easy reading. As always, well packed, a very dense package, and the brown paper is lined up for re-use.

Oh yeah, and I finally remembered and got box art this year. See any resemblance to my avatar? Gonna cut it out and post it in the garage. Hope the Husky doesn't notice😬. Thanks to the resident artist responsible! Apparently watched Wegman's videos.

Thanks to Jori and the staff for supporting all this fun and silliness, while selling great tools.

Hardly a day goes by that I don't think, "If I only had a Banana Wedge, how happy I'd be" - I just ordered 200; I hope to become a platinum distributor.
I have to apologize for my ignorance - I did a google search; didn't realize this was actually an industrial tool, vs. something used on a plantation.

No worries. There's always several tools that I need to research and figure out what they do. The pea shooter was another.

let us know how well that Root Saw works. I never even saw that one, but could see the usefulness
I was going to go for that root saw too as it looks so pretty. Then I thought it was too pretty and didn't buy it. So is it meant to compliment a sawzall in slaying tree roots or is it only for smaller roots?

"Aggressive, offset teeth that cut on the pull stroke are ideal for cutting roots up to two inches in diameter. "

Looks pretty mean from here.

Finally got my shipping notification today... :bounce:
I got my notification yesterday and have been frantically refreshing the UPS website, but UPS still says they don't have posession of the package yet...

Is this one of those Crowdstrike issues? Was I lied to? Is Jori out drinking beer in the parking lot with the UPS driver? Is that dang orange cat in charge of shipping? Where are my pry bars!?

Box art. I forgot about box art! It will probably be a week or so before it actually gets on the truck.

Breathe in, breathe out...

Got my partial order today, one Koken ratchet was on backorder. But seriously, who doesn't have a huge need for an Ajax Banana Wedge or a Piginor Root Saw 😂

I don't know what you'd use an Ajax banana wedge for, but when you do use yours, you need to sing the Chris Elliot "Bananas!" song.

Not an HJE Day purchase so much as an aftershock second order, I got this box today:

IMG_8573.jpg

Whisk broom - hecho en Mexico
Malco 7" straight jaw Eagle Grips
A fine, vintage twine
Jorgenson handle
Some soft pin or rivet that fell out of something I didn't order!
Tweezers
Simple leather sheath meant for small Opinel knives but I'll be using it for my new HJE/C.S. Osborne Sloyd knife

Inspected by Nos. 9 & 10.

Haul. Plus a wicked nice pair or suspendahs for getting Gene Gene the Dancing Machine. Gotta thank my Dad for filling my head with such (then) useless knowledge....I KNEW those hours of driving and listening to "Moldy Oldies" and his glory days would somehow pay off!!!
And of course, box art. I have no idea how any sane person would pass up the opportunity for such artistic elegance on the side of a USPS box. It simply eludes me.

Got the first box of my order. 4’ Milton blowgun. Still waiting for rest of order to ship. Someone got to the box before I did. The porch needed to be protected from cardboard boxes at all costs. Didn’t request birds on a wire, but it was a nice touch anyway. Thanks to all at HJEIMG_1301.jpeg

Here is my box art. My order included the Channellock #424 plier. The description says the teeth on the Channellock plier are "laser heat treated" so Channellock must be using sharks with laser beams attached to their heads to complete the "laser heat treating" process. 🦈 🙂

Wanted to wait for the official announcement from HJE regarding the caption contest before posting (and lost track of time because Cracker was playing two nights in town.) Received my 2024 Epstein's Day order Friday.

Cause what the world needs now
is another Epstein's Day order post
like I need a hole in my head...

Just kidding guys (and hope the reference doesn't fall on deaf ears), but I'm sure HJE/Norseman could help with said hole.
