Yeah bud, you're expecting way too much, or you were misinformed.

2ndGearRubber was correct, the longest Snap On or BluePoint warranty when it comes to electronics (ie. flashlights) that I know of is 1 year.

Does Blue-Point even have a lifetime warranty on hand tools?

-Ryan

Some do (but certainly not electronics). This is literally just a tool I clicked on at random as an example...

Warranty

Lifetime Warranty, Non-Repairable, Warrantied for Materials and Workmanship/for as long as purchaser owns the Tools.

They do. I was surprised to find that out when my 18yr old son told me. I've since got some broken blue-point stuff replaced.
Though I don't think they always did or I'm sure I would've known.........

Some do. I’m sure when I first started out the SO guy told me that all bluepoint hand tools had lifetime, but that hasn’t been the case for several years if it was ever true. Now it varies by tool.

Makes me question why I would buy any bluepoint hand tool over another brand that’s made in the same country, is cheaper and does have lifetime warranty (except for the brilliant 100pc general service set)

Modern Blue Point is just kinda weird. Some of their stuff is priced spot on, and pretty good. A lot is indeed ho hum. I've some older Kenosha Blue Point tools that are just phenomenal.
