Are Proto wobble extensions plain wobble or wobble fix?

I'm thinking of buying some Proto wobble extensions. Proto's website is next-level awful, so I can't find any real details about them or even some high enough resolution pictures to tell 100% if they are plain wobble or wobble fix/wobble plus. Does anyone have them that can comment on what style they are and if you like them? I'm looking for some good quality 1/4" drive plain wobble extensions. They aren't used often so I don't want to go Snap-On money, but a mid-tier brand like Proto, SK, etc would be good.

They wobble, but if you fully insert them they do a direct function.I have numerous ones of each style, different lengths.I would buy one, about an inch in length, then you can add whatever length you need to do the job. They can be annoying as they change function, sometimes when you don't want them to.But the Proto quality is superb, I'm very happy with that.I have both styles in lenghths up to about 6 inches, which in my case I don't need

Wright doesn't have 1/4", which is a bummer. You look at Williams? They look to have regular wobbles. The part number are M-202 - M-211 depending on length for the 1/4" drive size. I can't tell if those are US or Import though.

I may bite the bullet and buy a few sizes of Snap-On. Out of curiosity, what are the common sizes of 1/4 wobbles you nice folks are using? For me I'm thinking a 3" and a 6". Any longer than that and I can probably add a regular extension.

You're looking for 1/4", too?
The Williams wobble extensions don't have the "Made in USA" stamp in their catalog (pg.206), but Zoro indicates they are.

I bought Sunex before I knew there was a difference. I hate them, any pressure toward the socket goes right to lockup. I assume any locking wobble would behave in much the same way, just a difference in how much pressure to make it happen.

I did this in 3/8 drive. My 1-1/2” FXW1 proves darn handy. That being said, I do have a 24” FXW24 (discontinued?) because at that length I really dont want a second extension coming off.

I hate dual purpose tools. I'd have to either get wobble or no wobble. Better yet, get Proto universal sockets with non-wobble extensions.

Get the ko-ken wobble fix. They are the patent holder. They are very nice. I have a set and a couple individuals.

What's the working angle for the universal sockets, anyway? I've never used one, but I used to dislike my dad's old universal extension because it always jammed up. Looking back, I assume I was probably trying to tilt it too far.

The more money you spend the more angle. My snappies can turn at a full 90. I'd like to try the new Proto's someday.

I just purchased a Williams 1/4 wobble plus and it was USA MADE .
The 1/4 and 1/2" wobble extensions I ordered arrived and are all marked USA. It looks like their catalog was put together back in 2018, so I might not rely on that in the future.
