Trick for soaking up oil stains

I have a trick for soaking up oil stains...take sawdust or saturated kitty litter (preferabbly clean) and soak it with varsol. Place it on top of the stained floor. Leave for the day...sweep up and stain should be gone.

Thank Dave88LX...will get that changed. We are actually working on a new website...have to watch the spelling more closely.

No doubt. I think I am OCD when it comes to spelling/grammar, yet I haven't taken classes since '98 (Senior year of high school). I generally don't pick apart spelling/grammar much, but when I see it on a business site I try to let them know, because I know some people judge a company solely on the website and figure "jeez they can't even spell right, I'm not going to buy/let them _____fill in the blank_____. You know how people are. :) I guess while I'm here I will mention "its" in the first sentence. D'oh sorry man. I'll stop. :(

This should be...... "jeez they can't even spell right, I'm not going to buy/let them _____fill in the blank_____.". It requires a second period after the quote marks, since you have a sentence with quotes, inside another sentence.

In this sentence, "its" should be hyphenated (it's) (it is). D'oh, isn't proper English, however, we will let it go since it is commonly accepted as a slang comment. You do have poor sentence structure in the sentence, and it should read.........

I guess since we're being picky, I should mention that you're talking about an 'apostrophe', not a -hyphen-. :bounce: The reason I said it like "its" is to "quote"...see the quotation marks:) They put "its" on the website, I was saying it should have an apostrophe (or hyphen as you call it hehe), since it's possessive. Enough grammar for me today. :lol:

Varsol is a solvent.. found at any home improvement or hardware store in the same area where you would find paint thinner, mineral spirts and so on.

Another tip about Varsol known in the Jeep circles... it will refresh the paint on a Jeep's hardtop as well as bumpers and plastic fender flares. Just dampen a rag with some and run it over the faded paint.
