Mine are 28 date codes, no forge marks. There is an extra 13/16 with a 32 date code, no forge mark but it's longer than the 28, and has a patent number.

Thanks. So it looks like the markings are showing up around 1935….so far. Based on comments I’m not sure I explained what I’m trying to do very well. I have a Par-V marked single offset wrench. It also has a USN- NAF pre WW2 contract # on it. The wrench is a dead ringer for a Blue Point but isn’t marked Blue Point BUT I noticed it has the forge/ foundry marking under the offset end just like Some Blue Points I had seen. I was trying to get a bigger sample size and it looks like Blue Point was doing that at least around 1935. This gives me some confidence that the wrench may in fact be a Snap-On / Blue-Point related 1935 ish PAR-V used for filling a Navy contract. Below is my 3/4” Par-V single offset next to the image of a 1935 3/4” Blue Point single offset taken from an eBay auction. Obviously both have the 24D (24/32?) marking. Of course my Par-V could just be a Blue Point blank used for a mil. Contract the someone stamped Par-V but……seems unlikely.

Blue Point Body Hammer model HB258, would date about 1940. Later the model number was changed to BF603, some makers have it listed as a 158G. Like many BP hammers from this era, the model number is missing, some BP hammers have the number on the **** of the handle. Looks like the handle has been replaced.

Blue Point N-1316 boxocket. 1939 code. 13/16 x 25/32. 12-1/4 in length. 15 degree offset.
Its very odd, the handle is shaped very different than the regular round BP wrench. Has a low Nxxx number, The Nxxx model numbers are rare on Blue Point, usually on Snap on. A very early date for a Nxxx tool.
I have no clue what it was used for. The XD2526 from this era is 11-7/8 in length.

S9853 Blue Point Buick Special Wrench. 1-3/8 opening. The Blue Point name has been ground off, not to uncommon in early BP wrenches. Headlight adjusting wrench for the 1929 Buick. Shows in the 1932 catalog. About 11" long.

I very much like to collect these old aircraft tools. Lots of history they have seen.

Blue Point B-1455 Caterpillar wrench. About 16" long. 1-1/6 x 1-1/4. Has what looks like a 1930 code. For a Cat model 30: cylinder head and cylinder block bolts. Model 60: cylinder head and cylinder block bolts, exhaust manifold to cylinder and connecting rod bearings. 10-ton exhaust manifold to cylinder, connecting rod bearings and cylinder head bolts.
Quite a rare wrench.

Across the page from above while I have the 1938 Export Catalog open.

Thank you for the catalog pages.

Across the page from my little C-1618, I saw the RA-1618 and it looked familiar, but it turns out the one I have is an R1416, marked => BLUE POINTS - CHICAGO <= PAT. APL'D FOR.IMG_6392.jpeg

I remember member @Private Lugnutz posting a grind-off wrench similar to these, but my brief search attempt did not bring it up. Now, I'm wondering which size his was. I think it was like mine, because I was tempted to post this one back then. Whenever that was. Now, I don't even remember what thread it was in.

I have a Brit car so emergency road side repairs are considered routine maintenance. These Blue Point wrenches I carry in the trunk kit for my 71 Triumph Spitfire it still has points and condenser so I need and use these.

The screw starer is branded Blue Point. Not sure how old it is may not really be vintage.

Some ignition wrenches marked Blue Points Chicago with the arrow points. A couple interesting features for one it seems the same blank was used for more than one size. There are also two different configurations the upper end on two in the pic are centered where the rest are offset.
101_1972.JPG

The 9/32 (I know it's in the wrong spot) set low in the pic has the markings on the opposite side to the rest of the wrenches. The 7/32 has the markings on the same side but reads the opposite way to the others.

101_1973.JPG

These came with an extra 7/16 and 5/16.

S-9818 ?
Its not unusual to find specials that are factory marriages of two wrenches.
this is a odd one. A R2428 and a 2428. Combined to a 7/8 on both ends. Stamped Blue Point, no blue points, no arrow, in a font you rarely see in blue point. Another odd thing, the S9818 number is engraved on the shaft and not stamped. Not sure if that is factory. Would date about 1930. I have not seen a s9818 before. It would be a Buick Special

This is sort of a history of Blue Points an Blue Point tool rolls. As some of these bags are quiet rare, my knowledge as to dates will be only a guess, but should be in the ballpark. The first one is a Milwaukee Tool and Forge Blue Points tool roll. Its the only tool roll I know of that says Blue Points. Made for Motor Tool Specialty (snap on). Tools read Milwaukee Blue Points. So, what happened here, Snap on used the Blue Points name till about 1930 or so, after that it is all Blue Point. Blue Point name was also used in the 20s
This bag is probably 23-25
This one seems pretty early. Sorry for bad pictures. I'll update in a bit once I get through them all. Any idea on when this would be made

that is a odd one, but you see a lot of odd one 30’ 40’s. If it does not have USA on it then probably early-mid30’s

No other markings. Definitely looks primitive. Looks like another one I found has both a blue point marking and Milwaukee tool and forge. Once I get them all sorted I'll post some good pictures
