Thanks for that lead. So far I can not find any logo for the astro brand, so still not sure. I guess I may never know. This jack does not currently lift, but I have not topped the fluid off yet and I suspect that will be the ticket.
Thanks again!

Looks like a Sears model. I would research sears or craftsman brands. Good news is if it is one of these they still sell rebuild kits on ebay.

It sure looks similar to a lot of them, but I can not find one with that emblem in the casting. Maybe if I take it apart I will find something like numbers or a hidden sticker. Has me stumped. I even tried drawing the emblem on paper and doing a google image search without any luck.

and often the seals are standard sizes you can get by measurement....Let us know if you bring it back to life.

Other then that symbol it looks like a typical floor jack that a lot of places sold.

I think it is a HEIN WARNER 1.5 ton. AKA, O BOY.
I did a total rebuild only to discover the jack struggled with lifting the rear axle of my 84 year old Ford. I was about to scrap the jack when I discovered someone had shortened the handle by 24 inches and took the mechanical away. Fix coming soon. These floor jacks were made in USA and appear to be high quality.
There is a 2024 model on the market. The asking price is $499.00cdn. This jack is well built and worth repairing, unless it is totally worn out. I bought a rebuild kit about 60 km from here. I think it was about $25.

Thanks! It does look like the hien werner jacks. Cant find one with that symbol, but I suppose they made them for different branding.

I wouldn't assume that. It doesn't have the fancy wheel brackets and other then that mark like I said it looks like any typical import floor jack.
