Which one did you buy ? did it work out of the box ?

And how do you think it would work compared to a TIG welder doing automotive sheet metal fabrication ?

Thanks

Which one did you buy ? it has an S an A chiller with a Raycus laser

did it work out of the box ? Yes once you figure it out

And how do you think it would work compared to a TIG welder doing automotive sheet metal fabrication ? it is faster and same low heat!

I took some pics. I was kinda messing around. It likes pulling only. It is very difficult to fill holes. I also tried to move back and forth. You can do that but its tough. If the metal is aligned it works very easily

I got it from Amazon. It’s around 10 grand but I think they have come down some mine has what’s called an S an a chiller. Think of the chiller as a stereo cabinet, the laser itself slides in the back.
Similar to the way in amplify, it would mount in a stereo cabinet
That keeps the temperature a constant whether it’s cold out or hot
The laser itself needs to have a certain voltage
In the US grid voltage can vary it has to be kept plus a -5%
I believe the stated voltage was 220
So I had to get a transformer to do that
They don’t tell you any of this stuff when you buy it
You need to make sure that your hertz is at 60
Other countries use 50
