A lot of you fellas know that I am a vintage Ford freak. To put it shortly, that's where everything starts with me. I love old Fords. More specifically, I love old Ford H...

Wow!

Back around 1970-71, the plant engineer where my mother worked wanted to sell his 39 or 40 coupe for $800. Beautiful car. He was either the first or second owner. Next thing you know, it shows up in the delearship floor on display. Missed it by that much! The same dealership (Horne Ford in Orangeburg, SC) owned a T-bird from the 55-57 era that was basically untitled.

It's KiwiKev if he had a bigger back yard...

For some odd reason, this one is my favorite. I would go out and check on my cattle in the middle of a blizzard with the top down if I had this thing (assuming you could even put a top on it...).

cool post...Vern's shop is about 3 miles from me but I have never been over to see it...met him several times at shows, etc. If you're in the area, another stop should be at Fred Stokes' on old Redwood Hwy (less than a mile from Vern's shop) Cool old shop with a lot going on

How 'bout a warm, sunny day??:) The cargo box looks great for some mineral sacks or some fencing tools. It definitely would look at home roaming a pasture.

BTW, great garage. Love the cars, parts and tools scattered about without being a mess. Great atmosphere to work in.

Thank You Ryan. That place is "Hallowed Ground", when it comes to hot rodding! Despite my HAMB name, I do like the early Fords too, especially anything that has come out of the Tardell's Garage.
