Best place to get hardware? Every time i need a special bolt I can’t find locally I order them online. Problem is I forgot the name of the company that’s a popular choice here. Where do you get hard-to-source hardwar?

I recently bought the fasteners I needed for a project from Amazon.
When I factor in the cost of paying for someone to drive me to my local supplier the are cheaper and the overnight delivery is a real plus.

Aren't they the ones that sponsor a few YouTubers like Diesel Creek ?

I'll admit that I don't know. I can't recall watching DieselCreek, but I'll have to check them out.

That said, I'm definitely a fan of bolt depot, especially when I'm smart enough to plan ahead, vice having to travel to the nearby hardware stores, only to find they've not maintained their stock inventory.

. I used to be able to buy tooling and supplies within a 15 minute drive, As our real-estate went up in value at a rapid rate, many, if not all of the old suppliers moved following the manufacturing out of town. At first the drive for supplies was 15 minutes, then 30 minutes. Now with the frightening increase in traffic volume, an hour should be expected. Some of the suppliers' closed shop never to open again.
The better part is there are delivery services that we did not have years ago. They can bring almost anything to my address, for a reasonable fee. KBC was the only supplier with these blades. My wife was on contract in the next warehouse to KBC, ao she picked up the blades.
I used to buy a Starrett BS 1214-5 for under $10. The last two blades were close to $40 each.
NO. You may not use my KELLER saw. I might reconsider if you leave a $100 deposit.
