Raynor commercial garage door question

I recently bought a house with a large detached workshop. The 14ft high Raynor garage doors have an rectangular access hole in the bottom left side of them with 2 piece plastic inserts that cap the hole.
My first question is what was the intended purpose for these holes that are plugged off with the inserts?

Both of my plastic inserts are broken and should be replaced. I can't find anything online about how to buy replacements I suppose I'd have to visit an authorized Raynor dealership to see if they can be ordered.

I must admit when you mentioned commercial doors I was thinking galvanized steel roll-up.

Surprise! That is an attractive garage door, and I suspect that the rest of the building looks pretty good too!

Pictures?

I wondered if it could be that. But Raynor would have to make an accessory that would replace the plastic plug and go in it's place. I've never seen anything like that and nothing on their website either.
Might not be Raynor made. Mine are round and can't say I've ever seen rectangle...and too small for a per door?

Maybe this?...a vent?

You'd think if it was factory installed, it would be between the horizontal lines on the door, not overlapping them. And there would be one on each side for symmetry.

I've googled "Raynor commercial garage doors" and saw a lot of photos of them with the same holes and plugs as what I have. So I do believe they were factory installed.

Sure. The shop is 40X80 with a 16ft ceiling. Has a 3/4 bath in the back. Front half of floor is leveled in a way to make water go to the drain. Rear half is leveled perfectly flat. Has a natural gas boiler for the 39.jpg20231017_095703.jpg20231017_095839.jpgin-floor radiant heating. Stays 67 degrees 24hrs through the winter. Doesn't get above 80 deg in the summer without AC so it must be insulated very well. Plus the rear half of the shop is about 4ft under ground level. It has a 200A service panel with 220V outlets on each wall. Also has 1" copper pipe inside the walls for compressed air outlets on each wall and one above the restroom for an option to put the air compressor up there. A 220V outlet there too. I decided to keep mine on the floor.

I used JB weld on them to glue the broken pieces together. But, it doesn't stick well to the kind of plastic they are made out of.
I still would really like to know what their purpose is. All exhaust ports I see are round, not rectangular.

That one is round just like all I see if I search on exhaust ports. But they cut a rectangular hole in the door. I don't get it. Puzzling.

I'd definitely get that taken care of sooner rather than later. I left mine too long and the cold air almost ruined a shipment. I reached out to Paratec Door Solutions since they specialize in commercial doors like Raynor. They don't handle home garages, just business doors, but that worked perfectly for me

My glue job is holding up well so far. I Vee'd out the cracks, roughed up the surfaces in my blasting cabinet and filled with JB Weld. Then spray painted black and re-installed.
